  1. Hi there! Really loving the "sticky headers" in the new reporting - just so much easier to use and navigate. I wondered whether it would also be beneficial to implement something similar on the other Xero functions. Namely for employee details. Often, I would find that I would click a tab, scroll down and not find the information I was looking for (because it was actually in another tab facepalm), then I would have to scroll back up to the top of the page to select the right tab.   2. Would be useful to have the option to decline a PO request to remove it from the 'awaiting approval' tab, currently the only option you have is to delete it.

    The full PO side of Xero requires an upgrade, it's useless

We employ some Working Holiday Makers that would be assessed as Australian Residents for Taxation purposes, but the current STP2 system wont allow us to choose the employment type as Working Holiday Visa and then select one of the 2 tax status choices in the Tax tabs. The conflict seems to come from Selecting the Income Type as Working Holiday Maker - It seems a pointless Selection "Payee's country of Origin' if it doesnt trigger the expected tax rate for that selected country.   5. Short cut for payment date to be equal to transaction date.

    For example, you have entered a bill say 20/3/2023. The client has also paid it on the day. Rather than entering 20/3/2023, would be great to just enter say "s" in the date field and uses the transaction date for the payment date.

  7. It would be useful to have some sort of 'notes' section within each bank account. We have several bank accounts for various purposes (mostly to use as 'savings' for various tax liabilities (for example, corporation tax, VAT etc)-but it would be useful, for managing cash and future liabilities to have a notes section to keep track of what is due and when, rather than having to do either run a VAT return or P+L every time I need to remind myself and how much needs to be put aside.

Allocate spent money to supplier invoice raised at a later date -We pay our electricity monthly by direct debit - we may have 6-9 payments that have been reconcilled as spent money as the next supplier invoice has not been received. It appears you have to remove & redo the reconcilliation rather than having a facility to allocate that spent money to the invoice. This is incredibly time consuming and should be a facility available.

  10. Pay Run Items should be into years.
    Eg. All payruns shows up when pay run is openned. Mixing all the years together.
    A screenshot is attached for your reference.

    If we can have it grouped by years, it will be great and easy to identify especially as the years go by.

  11. Hiding Voided Pay Run from showing on the Main Pay Run Page.

    It will be great to have a functionality that allows you hide payruns that have been voided from showing on the main payrun list.

    When approved payruns cannot be edited, the only option is to void and create a new one. If a functionality can allow editing approved pay run, then there will be no need. But now, we need to have a function to hide the voided payruns.

  12. Currently you can add a discount of any amount including 100% on an invoice. However if you have a 100% discount the nominal ledger account doesn't save - so you can't report on it. We would like to know all subsidies across all courses but can't currently do this as if we have a fully funded course the NL code won't save so is left blank.

  13. It would be nice if expenses could learn and assign a specific account automatically to expenses from a regular supplier.

    The process could be:
    1) I take a photo of a receipt
    2) The analyse feature reads the receipt and fills in the date, supplier and amount

    THE NEW BIT:
    3) Expeses realises this is a supplier I've analysed a receipt from recently and codes it to the account I coded it to last time

  14. When exporting invoices if an invoice has multiple lines in Xero it also appears with multiple lines on the exported Excel.

    Can we have some way to collate the invoice lines onto one line on the excel?

    Currently when exporting a bulk amount of invoices we have to manually combine lines on the spreadsheet for the same invoice. This can take a lot of time and often lead to mistakes as manual calculation is needed to get the correct invoice amount.

    Can you provide more detail of your reason for needing to export invoices from Xero, Balraj? 

    We don't have any plans for changing the format of the export right now, however it sounds like this is a common action for you, and it'd be good to better understand the use case that we can share with the team. 

  15. It would be good if ''xero bills'' would send a failed upload notification message back to the email that it was sent from if the upload had failed. This would mean that you would know what upload had failed and issue that caused it to fail.

  17. Many organisations pay staff tax free money when they work away from the office more than 24 hours. Currently there is no expense claim format that allows this type of reimbursement to be entered.

  18. Add the option to change invoices with stripe card payments linked up so that the prompt to pay by card does not pop up when they open the invoice, but the link on the invoice stay available in the terms & payment advice section.

    My reasoning behind this is that I would rather recieve payment by bank transfer to avoid processing fees, but still want to offer the option for someone to pay by card.

  19. Generally working in Xero is very efficient. However, when paying approved expense claims (and recording the payment) I have to constantly switch between keyboard to type in the payment amount (which is displayed in a cell above) and the mouse to select the payment date and payment account. I can't imagine a scenario when the amount paid is not the amount approved. Why is this cell not pre-populated with the approved amount? If it was it would halve the time it would take me to register payments against expense claims.
