Files - Automatically include specific file attachments when sending from Xero
Ability to automatically attach a file to all invoices when users send an email out from Xero.
Purpose: To save time from having to manually attach the files.

If you attach a file to your invoice, it's because it needs to go with it. I can't believe this is not automatic when emailing an invoice and that you have to check another box - it's too easy to forget and then creates more headaches.
Please fix this Xero - just tick the box as Default!
...this must be a very easy/quick code fix!

Can we enable the api to attach a file when passing from mycleanpos app

Seems like this is often requested. I would love too for all the same reasons. Remembering to attach full T&Cs each time will be a pain to be honest.

The ability to always send quotes with our Ts & Cs would be extremely useful

Ron McMillan commented
Yup. Have certain documents I attach to every quote. Need to have it done automatically please.

Would be very helpful to have this feature so that you can add T&C documents to all quotes and invoices.

I agree with this request. We have to presently manually add individual documents every month when invoicing and as has already been suggested this is quite time consuming - so with the option in settings one could then select if required so these would automatically attach would be excellent. Hi, I just thought I’d chip in with some details on how you might do this.
If the details you want to attach are the same every time, you could set up a Custom DOCX branding theme, and include your terms and conditions document as a second page on the invoice/quote template file.Your terms document is then included when you email your transaction.
If you have multiple invoice types, you could create a separate branding theme for each one, and choose the relevant theme when you enter the transaction. -

Really want this to add standard T&Cs to every quote

Although ideally would like a file attached to a particular email template.

Yes, I can’t believe that files aren’t automatically attached. That’s the whole reason why you attach Files for is to send them to clients such a time waster.

It would be also beneficial to have this added to the quote function too. For standard documentation to be included with the quote.

This would be a great help as I'm legally required to send a specific document with each invoice.

Yes Please. This would be a great help to us as we need to send warranty and maintenance documents with quotes and final invoices. We have several different types depending on the order and the girls are having to constantly upload for every quote and final invoice. If we could create a template for each type it would certainly simplify by saving work and time.

Yes! I'm looking into using the standard templates for Statements, now that they include links to invoices (but custom templates don't). On the standard templates there doesn't seem to be a way to include a link to the terms and conditions on our website in the terms field. We have this link on all of our invoices, which use custom templates.

Yes please! This would be so valuable. I also need to attach T&C's and would be a real benefit to automate for quotes.

This would be a very useful improvement. We would like to be able to bulk import invoices and auto attached related PDF files as listed in the import .csv file The invoice number and the PDF file would have the same name. We currently do this all manually

This is a critical issue for us as with every invoice we have to send our terms and conditions
