New Invoicing - Retain automatic suggestion for email address, based on previous contacts
Please include the functionality of classic invoicing which allows Xero to suggest email addresses based on your previous contacts used. This is a key time saving feature in our workflow and one of only a few reasons we cannot transition over. Hi team, sorry we didn't return to update you on the deliver of being able to keep the contact when copying an invoice with new invoicing.
This was released a couple of weeks ago. Now when you copy an invoice to a new draft invoice you'll get the option to keep the same contact.
It;s worth noting that while the contacts details will follow through to the new invoice for sending purposes. Defaults are not automatically applied - So, if you'd like contact defaults to be applied to the new invoice you'll need to remove the contact and then re-add in the new draft invoice.

Absolutely agree with above. I used to find this a very smart and useful function, which increases efficiency and reduce errors.
