    We appreciate the depth of feeling from everyone regarding running Xero's aged reports in foreign currency.

    Following retirement of our old reports on 31 July, we’ll be looking at adding new features and being able to run the aged reports in a different currency will certainly be in consideration.

    To help with your foreign currency needs now we have recently released some common format reports in the Payable and Receivable Invoice reports. you'll find these alongside the new Aged Receivables Summary and Aged Payables Summary reports within the left hand side panel under ‘Related reports’.

  5. To have the ability to add additional currencies that are not on the standard list.

    Purpose: Business accept payments in Bitcoin and have no way to add that to the currency list. This would allow the ability to calculate tax, profit, and loss from the currency/cryptocurrency that the business is using.

    Hello I am the product manager for the group within Xero which looks after the currency capability.

    I follow the digital currency space closely, I find it incredibly interesting both sociologically as well as technically. However as a product manager my role is to ensure that my engineering group works on the things that create the most value, for the most people, and in alignment with the company's long term goals and aspirations.

    Digital currencies continue to have an extremely passionate, but also extremely small group of users who want to see them handled in Xero. The cost remains very high for us to deliver this feature, and does not make a difference to enough peoples lives to justify that investment. There are a lot more touchpoints than many people appreciate to implement crypto properly. Huge decimal precision, UX, currency rate feeds, revaluation logic, reporting - all need changes to…

    Thanks for all the support for this idea, everyone. We can see the value that making this change would make, and right now, we do have a team focused on this space working to upgrade its technology and UI. 

    However, at this time, there are no plans for adding Credit Notes to find & match. 

    As this work continues the team are considering how we build this with flexibility and capabilities to make changes like what’s being asked here possible in the future.

    We appreciate this is really important to you all, and we'll let you know if there are any changes, here.

    Hi all - thanks for taking the time to provide your votes and commentary on the idea to enable subtotals in invoices. We appreciate how this would make invoicing easier and enable you to provide a clear breakdown on invoices.

    As you can imagine with a global product, the variety of ideas we receive is expansive and so the product team focuses on building features that will meet most people’s needs. In the interest of transparency at this stage this idea is not currently planned. However we’re still open to receiving feedback and votes. It could always be reconsidered at a later date.

    In the meantime it’s worth highlighting (as a few have mentioned already) a workaround is to generate an invoice as a PDF and then edit the PDF externally. Alternatively our Xero App Store has many invoicing providers who may do this. You can browse the invoice providers

  12. Ability to include GST when users’ sending statements to customer/client.

    Purpose: To make the customer/client able to see the total GST on their statement.
