  1. I would love for the Watched Accounts box from the website dashboard to show up on my phone app dashboard. Sometimes I just need to see a bank balance or expense balance while traveling. Currently have to go to online website to see those watched accounts on my dashboard. Would be super cool to have them on phone app dashboard as well.

  3. I want Xero to automatically set contact names when importing transactions from bank feeds, but this doesn't happen on of my several 'bank feeds' where the 'payee name' is blank and the actual payee data appears in the 'description' field instead.

    This means that the option to set the contact name directly from the payee field (when using bank rules) doesn't work and I have to manually enter the contact name for every transaction when reconciling the account transactions. Extremely tedious and labour intensive!

  4. It's not possible for customers to update their own email address eg if we send an invoice or statement to an old email address and they want to change it. Would be good if customer could update it and we just verify it. Or some kind of automated form they get to speed updating it.

  6. Leavers can only access payslips 14 days after leave date. 14 days is not enough time as the final pay ay not have been processed at this time. So final payslips then becomes a manual process. If P45's could also be accessed that would be great.

  7. Dear Community,

    as we now have the W9 Request Feature with the 1099 Reporting, I would please request the same for the W8 Series for the 1042 Reporting. I know the forms are much more complex, but I experience that clients, even though reminded about the importance of gathering the W8s. Many completely disregard the Withholding requirement w/o the form.

  8. When you create repeat invoices it only allows discount in % but when you create a manual invoice you can have discount in % or £. This should allow both for repeat invoices as well.

  9. Xero doesn't currently have the option for reporting PAYG Income Tax Instalment on a monthly basis. Could Xero look into providing this option in the monthly BAS Activity Statement reporting.

    Appreciate your input here, everyone. Our team has looked into this idea to better understand the needs and complexities involved, however they don't have any concrete plans for it just yet.

    Hi everyone, we appreciate the importance of being able to view and understand where billable expenses have and haven't been assigned. While we have keen eyes on the idea here, with other big pieces of work on the go we want to be open that this is not in the roadmap atm.

  11. UK Payroll - it would be handy to be able to mark P32 amounts due as paid or dealt with. Just helps to visual see where you are in the list of reports and keep on top of due payments.

  13. Our users email received invoices to Xero and then go into the Drafts Folder to check/process the bill - but if we make their Role 'Draft Invoice Only', they can't see the draft orders that the system created from the emails.

    This means that the users can't use the auto Bill creation process and have to enter them manually.

  14. When an employee is off sick you should be able to open and input the start date and then save, to input the end date when the employee returns to work.

  15. It would be great to have the option to email a customer invoice as a csv or pdf or both. We are getting an increasing number of requests to send the csv version of invoices for our customers and this is currently quite a manual process to email the exported invoices.

  18. Xero calculates tax per line based on the total tax value of all components then rounds this figure. It is later split between tax components.

    Xero should be calculating the sum of each tax component rounded for each line item.

    Image attached shows how Xero calculates a different value for two equal tax components due to this simplistic method it is using to calculate tax. What is the point in having the ability to set multiple tax components if this is not taken into consideration when calculating the total tax value per item.

  20. Reporting - Account Transactions - Group by Contact Group - Aged Receivable Transactions

    When I run the Account Transactions new report with Grouping as Contact Group, the option to add opening and closing balances is blocked. Is it possible to enable this so that we can use the report in lieu of a monthly activity statement for the Group.
