  2. As the old 'GoCardless for Xero' integration is no longer being developed.

    And the new 'GCiX' GoCardless as a payment service integration is even less functional.

    Stripe, Paypal, Tyro and eWay all have bank feeds.

    We need a functional bank feed for GoCardless.

  3. Restore the ability to see the total number of days an invoice is overdue from the client contact page for credit control. It used to say 125 days overdue in red - that has gone so it is now not as easy to decide how firm to be when emailing a client to chase a late invoice. Those days overdue on an email heading get attention fast.

  5. When the screen locks it would be helpful to have the option just to logout. Currently if you have timed out but finished working on Xero you actually have to login just to be able to log out which is a waste of time.

  7. It would be good to be able to search the expenses to make sure that duplicated expenses are not submitted. Also it is really difficult to see what the expense was for and what the supplier was. Also it is really difficult to change any i8nformation on an expense as soon as it is marked as paid.

  8. Fixing issues with holidays and making pro-rata holiday calculations automatically
    Calculate starting holiday allowance from the starting date of the employee for new employees joining throughout the year.
    Calculate final holiday allowance based on the end of employment date when employees leave.
    Since Xero knows the holiday hours per year and the working patterns, it has everything it needs to calculate this.
    If an leaving employee has taken too many holidays before they leave, it is important to ensure the leave is negative.

    Hi everyone, appreciate the feedback on the idea here. Being open we don't have any immediate work planned for this.

    However, I also wanted to highlight with differing needs and regulation our payroll products are developed separately for region specifically. We try to keep the ideas regionally separated in community here as it helps when feeding back to the team and also in keeping customers updated.

    That said we have a separate idea for this similar feature in AU Payroll and I've added any voters from AU to that idea to keep updated there.

  12. When entering after Qty field, amount is pre filled with 0.00 and when you type, it will put the amount after e.g 0.00120 instead of 120.00. Please remove the pre filled zeros as with classic invoicing and keep the new invoicing in line with everything else in Xero like bills and spend money etc. It is too different!😒

  13. Sales Invoice - Bulk create Sales Invoices is possible with the import of the csv file, however, the invoices entered is not marked as paid, so we either mark them all paid on one especific date (bulk payment) or go in each one of them and enter the payment...

    Going in each one is impratical, and bulk paying all, lets say, at the end of the month is ok, but not right.

    We would love to create and mark the invoice as paid in one go, just like with the import precoded bank transactions...

Come on Xero, this should be the flow already, the tab position after entering the date should go to the reversing date, we accountants enter a lot of manual journals that are reversed and it is a pain in the **** to have to mouse click on the auto reverse date to be able to enter the date...

    This is a easy fix, this is just the tab index in the page...

  15. We have 3 Belgian customers who are unable to used Xero as there is no connection with Belgium tax authorities, comparable with the HMRC in the UK for MTD VAT returns. If Xero truly want to be a global accounting solution, with Group structures having multiple geographical entities, they need to provide more global support/interaction to avoid clients moving away to alternative solutions.

  16. On projects under "quotes & invoices" it would be great if it showed the remaining balance of the invoice. I send 4-5 invoices per project and sometimes clients pay a random lump sum and i write it off against the invoices but that can lead to an invoice being part paid and being able to see which invoices have been paid or have a remaining balance under that view would be beneficial instead of having to get out of projects and searching the invoice under the invoice tab.

  17. We have monthly invoices and we have multiple lines, sometimes 100+. With the new invoicing, the approve button is at the top of the screen and I have to scroll to the top every time I got to check the total prior to approving. Can you please make the 'approve' ribbon fixed at the top of the screen when you scroll down?

  18. Please can Xero add an Employee 'Known As' Name Field to the Employee Record, and show this alongside the legal name, on the Employees Homepage (& when running payroll) with the ability to sort alphabetically by this 'known as' name in both places.
    Nearly half of our employees go by names that are not their legal name. e.g. Annie = Kit Yee, Kate = Catherine, or go by their middle name instead of their first name.

    This issue is making running payroll ever more difficult and the potential for error incredibly high, as often the legal name bears no resemblance…

  19. If an item has been billed manually or your stuck with some items in billable expenses you have to open every bill and remove the client from the items that are have not been billed.
    Could you add a tick box selection in the Billable Expenses - Outstanding so that you can then select a remove billable expenses from multiple bills in one go.

  20. At present we are able to edit the layout of reports by rearranging, creating formulas, and grouping accounts. It would be INCREDIBLE to be able to customize the following.

    1) Group font (size and boldness only)- right now it defaults to a much larger BOLD font than the underlying accounts. It would be nice to choose these sizes and weights

    2) Customize the Group Total's Location - at present it shows only as an additional labeled row with the corresponding total. It would be a neater presentation to just have the group total show right in line with its main…
