  1. Being able to search prior support cases via a 'search' function would be very time saving. The process of scrolling through prior cases is very time consuming.

    Searching only by Open/Closed cases isn't overly useful.

  2. We need to be able to run a report of historical Expense Claims, by Customer contact in order to see what Expenses were entered for a certain time period. The Expense Claims Detail report does not show anything when I run it. I need the Expense Claim Report to be able to be sorted by our Customers names, not sorted by our employees.

  4. Remove the 'Skip' or 'Allocate Credit' pop up box when entering invoices.
    When entering a number of invoices, if the customer who you are entering an invoice for has a credit on their account, a box appears asking to 'allocate the credit' or 'skip.' By clicking either it takes you back to the enter invoice screen without the option of adding another invoice. This makes it quite time consuming when entering a number of invoices.

    Is there a way from stopping the 'allocate credit' or 'skip' boxes appearing?

Email allocation to different tasks for Xero-I think it would be beneficial to be able to allocate a different email address for a number of tasks, ie Invoices / statements have one, another for quotes and suppliers ie bills. I have a client that doesn't wish to receive every email for every aspect of the business as its not part of her role. Do you think this would be possible?

  7. Manual Journal - Copy details from line above- this is a tool in Sage so please could you consider it? :) it's a nifty action & allows a one click solution to repeat account & tracking categories and is especially useful for large entries such as payroll journals.

  8. Showing profit of Loss on Trial Balance (at both Client XERO Blue and advisor) Reports

    At present the trial balance report does not show profit or loss, can or will XERO recode the report in client reports(XERO Blue) and in the advisor templates. This is something I believe all accountants and bookkeepers will welcome the change, as the would improve workflow.
    Please refer to trial balance from competitors software (has printed that way for over 30 years)

  9. I would like to see a report that listed all the bank accounts, their balance at the report date and the date of the last imported bank statement line. For a company with more than a handful of accounts it would make it much easier to see which accounts needed to be brought up to date for accounts prep.

  10. Stop messing around with things that people haven't asked for and actually look at implementing things that have been asked for.
    The new look for customer and sales ledgers is awful. Why change it?
    When it comes to being easy to reconcile supplier ledgers Xero is already miles behind it's competitors but you've somehow managed to make it even worse!
    For example if there is an overpayment that you part allocate against a bill and then refresh the screen it shows that the bill is paid but the overpayment still shows that the full amount is to be used, it…

Previously in the old format Aged Payable Summary and Detail reports you could run the report at the end of the month and change the Ageing by option to be by Due date and the report would then exclude any invoices with a due date later than the month end it was being run by.   16. Allow a timesheet to be created for the week ahead of the pay week. This allows employees with standard hours to enter their hours in advance. It also allows managers to run payrolls in advance if circumstances need it

    Thank you for sharing your feedback and voting on the idea here, community. While we've reviewed this idea and appreciate the needs in what you're wanting here, we want to be open that we don't have any plans for developing a billable expenses report of this nature in the near term.

    We will continue to track the interest here, and share if anything changes.

  18. There is currently no record of changes to User registrations in the xero file. This is a failure of audit processes.
    A description for each user would be handy to identify the role of each person within the Organisation.
    A start and End date would allow for Temporary access arrangements.

  19. In the bank feed section. Please make the vendor history available when going through bank feeds. QBO has a button in the bank feeds called Categorization History. This way to do not have to go into a contact page to view how something was coded in the past. This is for things without rules.

  20. We deal with different people in purchasing, accounting, owners, etc for each account. Contact records are being treated as Account records. This makes it very difficult to keep track of all people we need to do business with within an account.
