  1. Can we please extend the budget manager period from 12 months to more than 3 years or whatever is possible? The data in the budget manager does not go beyond 12 months and if the budget is to be changed after a year of upload it doesn't have such access.
    When working for a movie/film-making company the budget runs for more than 12 months and it needs to be changed time and again. But Xero doesn't have such an option which makes it impossible to get an accurate variance.
    It would be great help.

  2. Add CIS Deduction value to the Aged Receivables and Aged Payables reports. In the same way Outstanding VAT value is an option to include in the reports, also include CIS Deduction.

  3. The Australian version of Xero offers a timesheet summary report. Can we have this in the UK? I need to send a manager details of his employees uploaded timesheet data and there is no report.

It will be good idea if Xero got facility to have a share holder register (like fixed asset register) with the control account in Equity area or facility to upload share holder details, address, number shares issued, dividends due and paid. currently we maintain this register in excel which is an additional thing to maintain.

  5. Give the ability to set a percentage (i.e) 50% on an employees bank account when paying across more than one bank.
    I have an employee who always splits her pay equally between 2 bank accounts, however she is a commission paid rep and therefore each pay amount is different. So the current function is no use to me- which allows a $$ amount to be set only. This is fine for set salaried employees but not for commissioned sales reps.
    MYOB had a function where you could set a percentage on how much went to bank account 1, and therefore…

  6. Ability to set a default check style per bank account.

    On the operating account the check stock has the check on the top, on the payroll account, the check stock has the check in the middle, and on the sales tax account, the check stock has the check on the bottom. Three separate checking accounts, three separate styles.

    It would be nice to have a setting where you can say, "if a check is generated from the operating account, apply the operating account style."

    Heya team, with some of the exploration our team were doing we shifted this idea to Under review a few months ago. However, reassessing current priorities as many here may also be interested in our team are currently in the depths of work for enabling the ability to view more statement lines and providing search on the Reconcile screen

    While this may be something we consider developing for later down the line, it's not something we have plans for atm and we'll shift back to Submitted to continue monitoring the interest here. Thanks 

  10. The "Outstanding bills" amount shown when viewing an invoice online is always shown in the Xero base currency, even when the invoice is in a different currency. This is not a good customer experience for international customers.

    Specific example: My base currency in Xero is NZD. When I send an invoice to an Australian client the invoice is in AUD. When the client views the invoice online, it has AUD for the invoice amount, but in the blue bar at the top it shows "Outstanding bills" in NZD.

  11. We would like the option to setup a data feed in our Xero file for BPoint transactions to feed directly into Xero (like we have a data feed for our CBA business account). Currently these transactions come in through the CBA business account with no detail other than that they are a BPoint payment, whereas if we had the BPoint data feed setup we could receive all of this information (client name, invoice number, amount etc) to reconcile automatically.

  13. Ability to show or report the variances/differences between the draft payrun and the prior period payrun.
    This would save a huge amount of time going through each payslip to ensure the usual pay is being processed and nothing has been accidentally added or missed.
    Especially when you have a large number of employees.

    Hi team, while it's not possible to view the previous pay periods figures for comparison in the current pay period, you could open the previous pay period overview in a separate browser window. Meaning you can compare the two pay runs without having to go back and forth between them.

    Aaah thanks for the clarification, Vicky and Alex. You could use the Management report to add the Top Customers report. Appreciate that the chart itself displays for Gross figures right now. We'll continue gathering interest for this here. 

    In regards to the sort order of the report - By default contacts will be sorted by the Gross column, however you can add a Net column and re-sort by clicking on any column header. 🙂

  15. "Days paid" on timesheet defaults to number of days loaded in "Salary & Wages".
    It needs to be overridden to actual days worked for the week when a timesheet is approved. Many staff work more or less days than the average and changing each one manually is incredibly cumbersome and has a huge margin for error

  16. Ability to switch between payroll calendars for an employee with multiple roles eg Jane is on the weekly payroll for her role as studio manager. She is also paid monthly super only for her roles as a sub-contractor yoga teacher.

    So far we have managed this by posting Jane's weekly pay, and then switching the payroll calender to process the super and then switching it back again. The problem is that if Jane is already in a draft weekly payrun the calendar can't be switched until the draft payrun is processed. This makes the process fiddly.

  17. We've started using Projects and I've created a test project, sales and purchase invoice and have marked the sales invoice as paid.

    However the project summary report doesn't show that the client/sales invoice has been paid and this is so important for us to be able to plan our payment run for the direct costs relating to that client/project.

    Can this field be added to the report?

  18. The "View recent bills report" functionality on a Contact page has changed since the new reporting was deployed this week. Previously, if you clicked on the link you would see a nice list of all approved bills for that vendor whether paid or not. This functionality has now changed and is effectively useless. Yes, you can get the same info by going into Business/bills to pay but that it is more clunky. Thank you.

  19. In the Accounts Transactions Report - Show all related accounts to include ALL split transactions regardless of how many there are.
    The current Report only display the first few, (please see upload) current format is not fit for purpose. Please under show related accounts, include split transactions not just the first few.
