  1. Hi Team, my query is about Draft Invoices. Is there any chance of having a 'Stop do you want to proceed' when it comes to a draft invoice being sent instead of the actual Invoice? I was convinced that I had approved a draft invoice, yet when the email was sent, it was not the Invoice as per the subject reference, but the draft. Embarrassing to say the least.
    Just that extra step would be very helpful. Not the first time it has happened to us. Thank you,

  4. On the Bills page, the New Bill button has been moved top right. More distance to travel = more time wasted. Need to look harder to find it too because it isn't where it was and the New invoice button still is. No - the new colour doesn't help that much as I am colour blind. Could you please move the New bill button back to top left of the screen like the New invoice button ?

  5. I need a report that simply lists all sales invoices by date, customer and total amount. It would look very similar to the invoice data that shows up when you go from the dashboard to Business - Invoices. The only way to export this data is limited to 500 transactions. Thats no good to me as Ive got 1000+ sales items a month. This would be one of the most easiest reports for Xero to create and give more joy to your users than you can imagine.   6. Matching foreign currency transactions - Bills that have been approved in a foreign currency should be checked and matched against local currency transactions. These are very common in credit card transactions for online service subscriptions.

    Also, the default setting to only match to local currency should be removed, or the user should be able to chose the default setting.

  7. Flag duplicate leave entries on the same day
    We are extracting leave data through API to manage resourcing including leave booked. We have a few cases of employees with duplicate leave on the same day entered and approved in error. It would be great to see a flag or warning pop up to approvers and payroll admins where more than a standard number of hours leave is applied to a given day. The number of hours comprising a working day could ideally be set for each employee.

The new invoicing page design has created a bloated feature-packed version of invoicing that, whilst great for companies who regularly email or print invoices for posting, is an absolute pain in the proverbial to navigate for companies such as ours who only create invoices for accounting purposes, and never send them out.

  10. There is no functionality to retroactively add or edit break times into an employees submitted timesheet. It would be good to be able to edit or add a break time on the timesheet if they forget before approving it.

  12. When adding bills with mixed GST/GST-free items to an invoice as a single line, please preserve the tax attributions (proportions) of the items in the billable expense.

    Example: If I want to invoice a billable expense to a client from a purchase made at Coles Supermarket, the expense will contain some items that attract GST and others that do not.

    These are correctly recorded in the bill (spend money transaction), but when this bill is added to an invoice as a single line, the GST/GST-free portions of the bill are lost. (And tax is applied to the total…

  14. But it would be amazing if you could set the FX rate for each transaction on the purchase upload spreadsheet.

    Where you do not add an FX Rate it would default to the daily rate.

    I have to set hundreds of FX rates for each transaction individually, so it would save me so much time.

  15. I am having problems with Xero automatically changing my due by date when I adjust the invoice date. I found a previous post where someone had the same problem and it was marked as resolved. But that is not the case. We often draft invoices for a customer - with carefully calculated due dates based on the service to be performed.   17. We are wanting to create a report for timesheet information for hours worked submitted by employees, that have been reviewed by their managers, i.e. rejected and unapproved overtime worked. The timesheet report only lists the paid hours. We would like to know the hours submitted by employees on their timesheets, versus the hours that were eventually approved and paid for.     Is there any way you could integrate the photos I put on my Starling Bank account of receipts I receive for purchases for my business account, so that I don't have to enter them twice, once on Starling and once on Xero.
    I realise this is not an option, as it's not happening, but the notes I add do come through, so could the photos too?
