  1. Hi,
    Currently Xero restricts the export of Invoice / Bills to 500 rrecords at a time.

    We, I am sure like so may other Xero users are a small value per transaction - High Transaction number enviromment and therefore even if one filters on date range for one day, the number of invoices are in excess of 500. This also means that we are unable to append files for one day at a time.

    My I request Xero to remove the restriction on the number of records while exporting Invoice / Bills transactions please.

    Hi team, we know some of our customers find using inventory(Products and Services) in Xero a little restrictive atm. Related to the idea here - Exploring the ability to record negative inventory, or back order of stock in Xero is in our product teams plans. They have a bits of work to get through first, but we'll shift this idea to Under review and keep you updated when this progresses.

  8. Can you introduce a "void " button please on the invoice listing page. We have dozens of invoices that have not been paid as customer cancelled order but we cannot void them in bulk. We would like to use the checkbox next to the listing of invoices and select "void" to do them all at the same time rather than one by one which we do not have time to do.

  10. It would be great to have an option to run a sales report by item which includes draft invoices, delivery dockets, and purchase orders as well.

    For example, I tried to run a sales report on qty of each product sold for the financial year to date and realised this information was inaccurate as we had sold a significant qty as draft invoices (using draft invoicing in lieu of delivery docket functionality), these products were not included in the sales report.

    Hi all, appreciate the interest and rationale for wanting to be able to combine and hide line items on an invoice for sending to your clients, while having your usual detail tracked on the invoice in Xero.

    While this may be a function we look to explore in the long-term we want to be upfront that this is not something we’ll be developing in the near term. Our team is focussed on other key priorities right now such as improvements to invoice branding and getting paid.

    If you want to hide all line item details, you can create a custom invoice theme where you can decide which data fields appear on the PDF invoice. For example to print only the Subtotal and no line items.

    However we’re aware that in other cases you want to be able to show some line items and not others. We’ll leave this idea open…

  12. The existing Customer Invoice Report has a "Paid" column. This column shows the payments allocated to an invoice. This column excludes any credits allocated to the invoice.

    The new Receivable Invoice Summary report has a "Payments/Credits" column. This column shows the combined amount of payments AND credits allocated to an invoice.

    I need to be able to run a report of invoices that shows ONLY payments allocated to each invoice. This is a crucial need for us. We need to know what amounts on invoices were paid by customers (i.e. payments) and what amounts on invoices were not paid by…

  14. Allow users to put in mileage claims at a nil rate per mile.
    This would allow the invoicing team to pick up mileage to charge to clients that is not claimed by operational staff: for example, where operational staff have a vehicle provided by the company.

  15. I frequently create draft invoices to keep track of work to be billed. When I send the invoice (at the completion of a production stage for example), XERO keeps the date of the first draft invoice, which can be weeks or even months old. I have a setting of 7 days as due date. Clients then receive an invoice with a long gone due date, which is extremely confusing, if I forget to update the issue date to today. It would make a lot of sense if XERO entered the date of the issue automatically! Apparently there is no default…

  18. When raising an invoice, add the functionality to 'select all' lines, to add to assign to a Project.

    When creating an invoice, even from within a Project each line has to be manually assigned to a project.
    Even if an invoice is copied from a previous one from within the project, the project information is not copied over and each line has to be assigned individually.
    This is very onerous, especially when there are numerous invoice lines.

    When actions are taken from within a Project, Xero does not seem to carry this information through, which is very poor.

  20. It would be useful if copies of invoice reminders could be sent to myself, so we have evidence of the detail of the reminder that was sent.

    Also, if invoice reminders get a reply, such as the person no longer works at a company, if would be helpful if those responses could be directed to my email. Also would be useful if we could get Read receipts on them.
