  2. The current option available for updating the time in lieu of XERO is to previously inform the fixed number of hours that will be added to the leave balance in the leave register. However, the number of hours varies each week, so I cannot predict in advance how many hours each employee will work.

    My suggestion includes an automatic update from the time in lieu of using a timesheet. Thus reducing the probability of errors by entering the balance manually.

  3. I am on a customer page and it shows that they currently owe for two open invoices. I would like to be able to click on the button Open Invoices and have the option to receive payment for those open invoices without having to leave the customer page. Currently I have to go to 1. Business 2. invoices 3. Awaiting Payment 4. Scroll through ALL open invoices (no filter even?), 5. Select the invoices I want to receive payment on 6. Select Deposit. Why not just go straight to the customer's open invoices and receive payment?

  4. In Projects, it's vital that the employee who submitted expenses is shown on ALL Project reports.
    Why? Because at the moment, it's impossible for the Project Manager to check if all employees working on the project have submitted their expenses. It could also be that they HAVE added an expense but 'forgotten' to add the Project to it so it doesn't get included - because use of this this field is NOT mandatory in expenses.
    2. It would also be very helpful if the gross and net amounts are available in all reports. Again, for a Project manager, it's difficult…

  5. Have option to remove decimals entirely. I.e. Have no ability to input decimals and where calculations are done, e.g. VAT, to round off.

    Hi Brett, separate actions in them self but it is possible to Approve multiple invoices at once from the Draft tab. When actioned you'll see a message from which you can 'View invoices' and multi select to Email. 

    Being open this isn't something we have plans for right now - Is there a common scenario, or specific reason you'd like these actions as one? It'd be good detail to share back with the team. 

  9. Can we please extend the budget manager period from 12 months to more than 3 years or whatever is possible? The data in the budget manager does not go beyond 12 months and if the budget is to be changed after a year of upload it doesn't have such access.
    When working for a movie/film-making company the budget runs for more than 12 months and it needs to be changed time and again. But Xero doesn't have such an option which makes it impossible to get an accurate variance.
    It would be great help.

  10. When developing a quote via Projects, we can add in an estimated cost and then enter a margin to give an estimated expense. However we cannot then retrospectively see what the original supplier cost is and therefore profit expected. Neither does it offer a field to enter who the supplier is. The Project financial reports have a header to show 'estimated cost' but it does not populate this field. The only time a cost is shown is if it is entered as an actual expense.

  12. For manual reconciling, the bank statement file can be generated using a CSV template and requires inputting details like the Date, Description, and Reference. However, users, especially those with high monthly transactions, may want to change/edit the descriptions after the file has been uploaded and reconciled.
    Currently, to do so, the bank statement needs to be deleted and re-uploaded, which means unreconciling previously reconciled items and repeating the entire process. If there are many to be amended, this process may need to be repeated multiple times. It would be beneficial if we could directly edit the contents of the bank…

  14. It would be great if we could pay our employees similar to how we can process a batch payment in XERO for bills. At the moment I am having to go into the bank account at the end and pay each employee individually.

    Is there another way to do this ? I may be missing something.

When creating an invoice for a customer and applying the “items” that were assigned to the customer it would be very helpful for Xero to apply all of the relevant information that was entered for the item to the invoice. Such as sales price, revenue account etc. Currently the billable expense information that is applied is the “cost price” only, which is not relevant on a customer invoice, and you must set the revenue account for each line item. All of the information is already entered in the inventory for the item.

  16. Modify the Budget Manager so that it accepts 2 decimal places and does not round to the nearest full dollar.

    Rounding all figures means that the Net Profit amount is incorrect which means the budgets are incorrect.

  17. I want to track certain yearly expenses. I wish to put a limit to the expenses. When they reach the limit,I wish Xero can alert me. Eg Setting a limit on staff benefit per employee as $1,000. Once $1,000 is reached, a message can be sent to me.

  18. I understand the ATO requires you to enter 2FA daily, but that doesn't mean the tickbox should uncheck itself every day.

    If I tick trust this device on Monday and login using 2FA, I can then login without 2FA for 24 hours.

    After that 24 hours, I need to login using 2FA again AND I have to tick the trust this device box again to get another 24 hour reprieve.

    Let us tick the box or another box that will remember our choice ongoing. So each day I only have to login using 2FA again but my choice to trust…
