    Hi team, we appreciate the attention this idea has received and do want to share that while we aren't directly developing at this stage, notification and being able to collaborate on bills is something our team are currently looking into. 

    We can't provide any promises right now, but we wanted to loop you all in on news. Once the teams research has concluded and we have a better sight on what can be done in this space I'll return to update you all, here. Thanks

  3. It would be really useful to be able to view the email content/date/time/recipient, etc of the emails sent to CIS Subcontractors when we send the monthly CIS Statements via Xero to them.

  4. When a bill is generated through Email-to-Bill the bill history only says System Generated and 'Received through Email-to-Bill'
    It would be much more valuable to see the sender's email here (e.g. 'Received through Email-to-Bill from ***@gmail.com') in case a follow-up is needed

  5. Create the option to use Days or hours for time off (holidays).
    Holidays are often calculated in days or 1/2 days not hours.
    Having this option for pay & pay rates would also be helpful and also on payslips

  7. We often need to generate Project reports for the time period 'Project to Date'.

  8. Pay items bulk upload

    can we please have a way of updating pay items in bulk
    when items are imported via a different pay system the W1 area is not updated
    and to do 100 items takes so much time as they have to be one indivually.
    other items can be exported, updated and then imported back

  9. We would definately want to see the hourly rate and hours for overtime for staff on annual salaries.
    At the moment the overtime hours are printed but not the rate of pay for the overtime.

  10. Currently, when using the cash coding screen, if you do not allocate a payee a new payee is created for each line item. If there is no Payee the contact should be Unknown otherwise there is too many contacts created for no reason.

    Would love to see the autosave available for Quotes. Often my clients are distracted whilst creating Quotes and when they've navigated to another section (rather than opening a new Xero tab), the Quote disappears!
    For one of my clients, his quoting is very detailed and this process takes valuable time which he'd rather not have to repeat if the Quote is no longer there.
    Invoices are autosaved of course, once a Contact is entered, so I would assume that the same principle could easily be applied to Quotes....

    Hi team, while we understand the desire for auto-save in quotes here, we want to be open that we don't have plans for changing the current save behaviour for quotes for the time being. While seemingly simple there is a fine balance in creating a save experience that'll suit majority of users. As some may have seen with new invoicing that has auto-save implemented, we've received wide ranging response for this feature, and there is more work needed to fine tune.

    To confirm the current experience, when creating quotes in Xero you'll want to select the Save button before navigating elsewhere in your org, or leaving the page to ensure the contents of your quote is saved.

    If there are any intentions of changing how save works in quotes, we will surely let you know on the idea here. Thanks

  13. Hi,
    Currently Xero restricts the export of Invoice / Bills to 500 rrecords at a time.

    We, I am sure like so may other Xero users are a small value per transaction - High Transaction number enviromment and therefore even if one filters on date range for one day, the number of invoices are in excess of 500. This also means that we are unable to append files for one day at a time.

    My I request Xero to remove the restriction on the number of records while exporting Invoice / Bills transactions please.

  14. EORI numbers are required for all European customers especially when invoicing/shipping goods. It is an extension of their VAT numbers. Please can XERO create a new field on the contacts for this. We are recording this currently in the new notes or "FAX" number so it shows quickly. Are Fax numbers still necessary?

  15. It is really basic, the permission control is not flexible and give more options. How about to give multiple choosing box for permissions. I want to create a user and give him permission to create and print quotations and a purchase order permission to create and submit for approval. Because the purchase approval permission i want to give to the manager levels only.

  16. The ability to filter bills to pay by tracking category and select invoices for batch payments by tracking category to enable businesses with multiple locations/businesses within the one Xero account to manage, approve and pay bills based on the location/business the bill is applicable to.

  18. I am trying to add a list of inventory items to a project quickly, to estimate cost, is there an easy way to upload an excel sheet with all the inventory items & quantities?

    I need to add multiple items like over 60 each with their own quantity... Can I upload a list? Instead of individual listing?

  19. The new balance sheet report has introduced a column between every month which contains a flag if there is an item impacted by FX. This now means that when exporting into excel the report now has 24 columns as opposed to 12 previously and the months are not sequential. I like many others use the balance sheet in other tailored reporting and financial models so am now having to delete the blank columns in order for the report to fit into my reporting templates.   20. It would be really helpful to be able to add a note/comment next to contact email addresses. Such as "Use if sending a remittance", "Only use for purchase orders" or "Business owner - only email if urgent". These comments could sit under or beside the email address in the contact's edit section so that it doesn't crowd the side bar of information. That way we don't annoy the customer by sending some emails to the wrong account and we also don't need to keep sticky notes for such specific customer details for each of our many clients.
