  2. Xero Me - Needs spot in App to input the Earnings Rate and Tracking Category for the employee. Needs a start/stop button for clocking in/out so that when the employee starts the day they simply press start and the app records the time started. When they press stop it records the stop time until the start time is pressed again. This can be used for breaks and for start and finish of the day - these can be edited if someone forgets.     Hi community, though we appreciate the interest and would like to continue seeking feedback on being ale to clock in and out times on timesheets, to share an update from us here - this isn't something we have planned in the short term.

  3. I have a client who is VERY mobile active. I noticed on the bank reconciliation page that notes are multiple taps away. On a transaction, three dots, then view note, and then one more click to go back. It was be fantastic if the default on the bank reconciliation page on mobile was to show notes first, like the discuss tab is defaulted to show first on the web application. Then I could instruct my client to view the bank reconciliation on their mobile to see what information I am requesting.

  6. add column in invoice overview. Hi, I was wondering if I can add a column in the program in invoices overview. When I used sage 50 account before, I could see a list of invoices and first few lines of what the include. Now when I go to a customer and would like to check how much I charged for particular job and I don't know when it was done, I need to open each individual invoice to see description.   8. I would love for the Watched Accounts box from the website dashboard to show up on my phone app dashboard. Sometimes I just need to see a bank balance or expense balance while traveling. Currently have to go to online website to see those watched accounts on my dashboard. Would be super cool to have them on phone app dashboard as well.

  10. You are currently unable to see the projects within the contacts tab against a contact within Xero.
    This would be really helpful as I have some customers that have several projects on the go at one time. This would make it easier to go from one project to another for one client. It would also be a quick reference location. The added quotes, invoices and credit notes added to the contact has been a great step in simplifying contact management - the project listing would complete the loop.

  11. It would be good if payroll reports could be customised, i.e. after making a change to an existing report, such as Gross To Net report, the new template could be saved as a Custom Report.

    At the moment, it isn't possible to save the updated format, so I have to make the same changes to the standard report every month.

  12. Xero have added an automatic journal which credits salaries with the amount recovered from the government. This is great except we use tracking categories for all transactions in the P&L and the automatic journal leaves it blank. We have to post a manual journal to correct the posting. It would be useful for the automatic journal to include tracking.

  13. Upload AR Remittance Advices within "Match" option within Bank Reconciliations
    I have noticed that when processing the Bank Reconciliation and matching bank deposits to raised AR invoices, the Remittance Advice can't be uploaded directly to the receipt under the "Match" option (see attached screenshot).
    However, under the "Create" option (next to Match then clicking "Add Details") there is the option to Upload files.
    Not being able to do this directly within Bank Rec matching means it is an inefficient process where I have to go back to the Customer account, look for the Invoice(s) that were paid and open it…

  16. It would be extremely helpful to have a 'master' input at the top of each column of a quote / invoice / bill etc so that the master input is then auto-populated under that column heading for all line-items of the quote / invoice / bill.

  17. A while ago before an update, when working on a set of accounts in Blue Xero, there was an option to 'highlight text' from the main screen of the report, but this was changed to make it so you had to go to 'edit layout' in order to be able to highlight text yellow.

    It would be so great if we could have this feature back on the main page as it was so much more user friendly. I would suggest in the area next to the bold/italics/underline/bullet points area which is where it used to be.

  18. Is it possible to permanently remove the help banners that continually appear at the top of screens in Xero?

    Ideally, it would be nice to use these (if needed) and then close them off permanently, so they don't reappear every time you work in the file.

    They take a significant amount of space at the top of the screen so you actually have to X them out.

    Just checking if you're referring to Custom Pay Items, which are already available in Xero Payroll.

    If not, could you let us know some examples of custom fields you require, that aren't already available in Xero Payroll?
