  3. I would like to see the ability to customise the Fixed Asset Schedule. Currently it defaults to alphabetical order. In order for us to display the Fixed Asset types in a more logical order we need to name the fixed assets 1- Land, 2 - Buildings etc. We cannot add page breaks either which would be appreciated. We should be able to Edit the layout as we can with the other reports.

  7. When you have grouped various account codes together in the layout there should be an option to expand or collapse the report when it is being prepared without needing to go back into the report layout to open/close each group.

    I can't imagine it would be too difficult for the development team to bring the functionality from the layout stage to the report stage.

  9. Budget Variance Report for 12 months.

    Currently the budget variance report is restricted within a selected date range. If we are able to customize the budget variance for the below two options:

    Option 1: If there is an option to run the variance report for previous financial year for the 12 individual month with the actual and budget variance.

    Option 2: For current Financial Year, if there is an option to customize the monthly actual and budget variance report including the budget for the reminder of 11 months.

    Thanks for confirming, Jeremy. It sounds like the Gross and Net columns that can be included in the Account Transactions report would provide what you're after. Let me know if there's something I'm missing.

  14. Current volume limit is too low. I can't even run the account transaction report including all the account codes for the whole financial year. It's not ideal to run a few report and add together. Strongly recommend Xero increasing the volume limit for the report.

  16. what about the possibility of practices creating their own report code structure? with infinite report codes capable of being added? to accommodate flexible reporting structures?

    It is truly difficult to automate reporting where a practice does not control the chart structure. this is because clients often create new chart codes because their particular expense doesnt neatly fit the chart options available...so a new expense/revenue/etc account is added and then the report pack grows in size (with similar account types that really should be grouped for reporting) to the point where it is unusable...unless the practice manually maps…

    Hey Community,

    As part of our reports refresh, we’ve updated how reports look when printing directly from your browser - removing the larger margins mentioned in some of the comments.

    Generally, we’d recommend either exporting to PDF or, as Russel has mentioned, exporting to an excel file for further refinement before printing.

    However, if you do print directly from your browser, you’ll now find that the report is correctly aligned to the left of the page 😊

  18. Reports - would love to be able to run an account transactions report that is able to be grouped by bank account as well, so we can see how each bank transaction has been coded, GST status etc from each bank account

  20. We reconcile monthly sales with an internal ordering/salesprocessing system. This is good for checking to see if invoices have been missed and also to make sure that the net sales are the same in Xero too (another fail safe check). There needs to be a sales report that is easy to run off on a monthly basis showing net figures. Currently I have to run a couple of reports off - identify prepayments and delete them in the excel version, then add another column to work out net value.
