Tracked Inventory - Add Sales invoice number of COGS journal
When COGS posts via tracked stock on a sales invoice, record the sales invoice number the COGS value relates to in the nominal ledger. There is already a field for this, but Xero does not populate it.

CIS - Allow 210 CIS Labour invoice to be added to a service
I would like to be able to assign the 210 CIS labour account to a service for CIS labour. At the moment, I have a couple of services for CIS labour and some for non CIS labour.
For the Non CIS labour, I can creat a service called 'labour' and add the account code to it.
This can't be done with CIS labour at the moment as Xero won't allow it. This means that for each line item of CIS labour in an invoice I have to manually add the 210 CIS account.
This is unnecessarily timecomsuming and allows for typos and accidentally allocation to incorrect accounts.I would like to be able to assign the 210 CIS labour account to a service for CIS labour. At the moment, I have a couple of services for CIS labour and some for non CIS labour.

Tracking - Sub-category under options
Can we please add the ability to set up a sub-category under category options?
For instance, we have already tracking categories by store locations (i.e. Loc 1, Loc 2, Loc 3). However, we need to have a sub-category per Deputy's area (i.e. FOH, BOH) under the store locations.
Category option: Loc 1 (Store Location)
Sub-category option: FOH, BOH (Area)If we could set up a sub-category under tracking options, that would be great. Thank you!

Cybersecurity - Phishing resistant MFA & logging of failed MFA attempts
Cybersecurity - Phishing resistant MFA & logging of failed MFA.
The Australian government publishes a set of 8 essential security measures. In order to progress beyond maturity level 1, platforms need to provide central logging of failed multifactor attempts and phishing resistant methods. Xero currently provides neither and can achieve this via SSO. Please add single sign on support with advice per https://www.cyber.gov.au/resources-business-and-government/maintaining-devices-and-systems/system-hardening-and-administration/system-hardening/implementing-multi-factor-authentication3 votes -
Connection with Belgium (and other countries) tax authorities
We have 3 Belgian customers who are unable to used Xero as there is no connection with Belgium tax authorities, comparable with the HMRC in the UK for MTD VAT returns. If Xero truly want to be a global accounting solution, with Group structures having multiple geographical entities, they need to provide more global support/interaction to avoid clients moving away to alternative solutions.

Credit Note - Option to 'Approve and email'
Currently when you create and apply a credit note to a sales invoice, as soon as you hit approve it'll take you back to the invoice, so I then have to click back into the credit note.
I'd like to have a dropdown option to approve & email the credit note to the customer if possible.1 vote -
Cash coding - Floating headers
Hi All,
On cash coding screen, it would be great if there was an option to freeze the heading panels so you dont have to keep scrolling up if you have millions of lines to code. Eg: to uncheck all
Thank you so much.

Pullen Holdings (Pty) Ltd t/a CEPS1 voteThanks for sharing, Jenal. It's not something we have planned at present, but we'll get a sense of the overall interest for this here and keep you updated.
In the meantime, appreciate it's not exactly what you're after here, however to save you scrolling perhaps you could use the Home and End keys on your keyboard to more easily navigate the page. 🙂

Xero Me - Ability to reconcile credit card account for expenses
It is impossible to us the credit card bankfeed function and allow for the credit card user to account for these expenses in Xero Me.
Solution: allow for credit card transactions to pull through into Xero Me via automatic sychronisation. This should provide a more streamline approach to recordinng individual company card expenditure, remove time in reconciling missing receipts and remove duplication.1 vote -
Reporting - Adjust row height on Excel exports
When exporting reports to Excel they are coming in with very narrow row heights. By Default Excel will create a row height 4 points larger than the font. Eg: default font is 11 points and row height is 15 points. If I increase the point size, the row height increases.
My exported reports have the general data at 9 points but the row height is at 11 points - and I'm constantly having to modify my spreadsheets.
It appears that Xero believes that a 2 point difference between font size and row height gives enough white space to make the spreadsheets easy to read.
Can we please have at least 4 points difference between font and row height on exported reports.

Billable Expenses - Retain tax treatment from original Bill on Invoice
When adding bills with mixed GST/GST-free items to an invoice as a single line, please preserve the tax attributions (proportions) of the items in the billable expense.
Example: If I want to invoice a billable expense to a client from a purchase made at Coles Supermarket, the expense will contain some items that attract GST and others that do not.
These are correctly recorded in the bill (spend money transaction), but when this bill is added to an invoice as a single line, the GST/GST-free portions of the bill are lost. (And tax is applied to the total of the bill, not the correctly recorded bill elements.)
The only way to preserve the proportions is to add items from bills as separate invoice line items - but this is impractical (time consuming/wasted) for dozens and dozens of billable expenses.
Please fix!

AU Payroll - Employee Summary report include employee group name on the report
when printing or saving the employee summary report x group the name of the group doesn't appear. If doing multiple groups, this makes it difficult to know which group is which when referring back or from printed reports.

Bank Reconciliation - Reconcile expense claim against multiple statement lines
When an expense claim is created via Xerome a 'spend money' transaction is created instead of a bill which means that if there is more than 1 payment against this claim I cannot opt to split the transaction when reconciling the payments. There needs to either be an option to split or the expense should create a bill rather than a 'spend money' to enable easier reconcilliation
