  1. Please add the function to add a Projects field on the Bills awaiting approval and Bills awaiting payment page.

  2. In our business, there may be multiple people helping on a particular project for a client. Currently, in order to have the income allocated correctly to each employee we have to enter separate items for each person. This then flows through to the invoice, showing all the amounts and items listed separately.

    Would it be possible to look at a way that "behind the scenes" we can add multiple invoice items so that income is allocated correctly, but on the invoice it shows a single description and amount?

    It just makes the invoice look more confusing than it needs to…

  4. I am having problems with Xero automatically changing my due by date when I adjust the invoice date. I found a previous post where someone had the same problem and it was marked as resolved. But that is not the case. We often draft invoices for a customer - with carefully calculated due dates based on the service to be performed. When I go back to issue and approve the invoice - the invoice date changes but I want the due date to stay the same. I have to recalculate now as Xero changes it. Can this be fixed -…

    What has happened here...it is now taking eight tab clicks to get from Reference Number to the first box to input the item code...last week it was six...so the number of click has increased, not decreased.

  6. We are wanting to create a report for timesheet information for hours worked submitted by employees, that have been reviewed by their managers, i.e. rejected and unapproved overtime worked. The timesheet report only lists the paid hours. We would like to know the hours submitted by employees on their timesheets, versus the hours that were eventually approved and paid for. When reviewing a payment for an invoice, you need to click 3 times to review the transaction details..going into 4 screens, as it's on a separate screen (1-invoice 2-payment 3-transaction 4-transaction details). It would be more efficient to have the transaction details screen build into the same screen as the transaction screen. I don't see a need for a 4th screen, especially when you have click to go back to the previous screens when investigating multiple payments.

    Hi everyone, appreciate your interest in a shared calendar for Payroll in NZ. With payroll products being worked on quite separately we have split this idea out from this one, so we can track the interest for this in each product and keep you updated.

    Being open this isn't something we have immediate plans for in NZ payroll, however we're keen to continue to track the interest and can keep you updated if there are any developments.

  9. We have a 2 year old issue where we changed an employee end date then reverted a payrun. HMRC has not recognised the revertion or that the resubmission is the same data so we have a duplicate that we haven't been able to sort out.
    To avoid this pain for others, could there be a pop-up warning if someone tries to revert (or otherwise change) a payrun where an included employee has an end date set? Or if the end date has been changed? The details of how it works can be as is easiest to implement.

  11. There is no functionality to retroactively add or edit break times into an employees submitted timesheet. It would be good to be able to edit or add a break time on the timesheet if they forget before approving it.

  12. 1st) I suggest on embedding the Validated QR code to the normal PDF invoice so that we can print multiple invoices at one go and our normal PDF invoice also consists of banking details and credit terms whereas the Validated E-Invoicing has none of these.

    2nd) I suggest on putting "Send to MyInvois" button instead of copy and paste the e-mail MyInvois@invoi.ci for every invoice. This is too troublesome.

    3rd) Regarding the Invoice interface on the Sent Column, perhaps can Xero make it into two instead? One is for the Validated E-Invoicing & the other one is for customer. The…

  13. Provide option to select a specific start date (within, say, the past 24 months) for bank feeds when submitting the online request through Xero. For example, from previous 1 April rather than from the next day after the bank has processed the request. This would relieve the need to request clients to provide a csv from their online banking for past transactions to complete the year’s records. Some clients are not computer confident for even this requirement when setting up their Xero account.

  14. I would like to have having ability to quickly see the outstanding amount in the currency it was originally invoiced (like USD or EUR) directly from contacts dashboard, without having to navigate through detailed reports and apply multiple filters. This would save a lot of time.

  15. Ability to create a record work done for a customer/client as a unbilled/delayed charge that has a pop up notification when an invoice is been created for a customer/client. Xero has a record of billable expenses but amounts on invoices are not always linked to a billable expense or time record.

    This will avoid multiple invoices been issued to customers/clients and eliminates the possibility of "forgetting" to bill a customer/client for work done.

    Quickbooks Online has this feature which is extremely useful.

  16. When using the Reconcile Period feature for clients with multiple bank accounts, it is time-consuming to click in and out of each account to check if reconciliation is needed. It can also be difficult to remember which account you left off on, especially when reconciling at different times throughout the month.

    Displaying the ending date of the last reconciled period next to "Reconcile Period" and/or on the dashboard would provide a quick overview of the last reconciliation for each account, improving efficiency.

  17. Unable to add credit note to an existing invoice in the new system.

    You can choose from the click down box - Create and Apply credit -
    - the next screen is the credit note with all the details from the invoice, But .. it doesn't add the name of the company/person to credit note
    - when you click on approve it can't save it as there is no name.
    - I can't see where you can add the name.

  18. Need to ability to limit the list of accounts for each user and then allow the approver to have access to all chart of accounts to re-assign the expense.
    Staff don't understand accounts requirements to be able to choose the correct account.
    Also need to make it simple for users.

    The solution provided for the removal of filtering by Employee Group in the Payroll Employee Summary report now includes all employee groups ever in existence, including the multiple spellings which have since been fixed, groups deleted after never being used, and archived groups which have not been used in years and will never be used again.

  20. It would be great if when entering invoices and bills, in the unit price you can enter multiple numbers. Like you would in a cell in excel. Eg. =100+500+100. and when you tab across to the next field, it totals it up to show 700.
