New invoicing - Show invoices with "includes Adjustments to Tax"
In Classic views if there was an Adjustment to Tax it was quite obvious when the Invoice (or Bill) had an adjustment to tax. Compare that to the new Invoice screen where there is nothing showing that this adjustment exists.
It must be sitting in the database somewhere as its shows in classic invoicing.Could this be added back into new invoicing plus could there be a report or filter that could show invoices or bills that have an adjustment to tax?

Where you're using the UK or Global editions of Xero it is possible to manually adjust the tax amount of individual lines of your invoice with new invoicing. This is slightly different to classic where you would adjust the overall tax amount of the invoice.
If the Tax Amount column isn't shown already, click the show/hide fields button where you'll have the option to check this - While this column is possible to view for all orgs, as with classic invoicing only UK and Global editions will find the option to edit the Tax amount of your invoice lines.

Reports - Add BAS reporting
Being able to click on the summary page to show what is entered in that field would be good or a drop down box on the BAS summary page. Having to scroll through sales to get to the expenses is time consuming.

General Ledger Report - Show separate column for supplier/client name and other side of double entry
We are accounts practice with more and more clients using Xero. However General Ledger export is not sufficient, as it is hard to group expenses, when there is no supplier name, as reference or details usually left as per bank upload, hence difficulty grouping while preparing final/management accounts.
Also another side of double entry would be very helpful, as you could see for example that entry in lets say Telephone nominal is from Bank # NL, Jrn from Accruals NL, Jrn from Prepayments NL,…

Its been an industry standard for well over 20yrs to have the ability to run one report and pay suppliers in bulk Ie one payrun over all the suppliers and generate a report that can then be amended to "deselect certain suppliers" and deselect certain bills within a supplier. that report is then amended, accepted and approved. then remittances are sent out and ONE BULK Bank file is generated to be uploaded into the bank and all the supplier efts transmitted. This is a REAL timesaver for accounts payable people and the authorisers. Do Xero have anything in the pipeline…

Gift Aid - Option to automatically claim Gift Aid
As a charity we would really like the ability to be able to have Gift Aid and reporting on Xero, otherwise we would have to get a 3rd party piece of software to run Gift Aid.
It would be so great to be able to mark on a customers record that they allow us to claim gift aid on the monies they pay to us and then in turn for us to be able to run a report to submit to HMRC of how much Gift Aid we are able to claim from customers in others words extra income…13 votes -
Reporting - Duplicate Supplier Bills
Xero will alert if there you are posting a duplicate manual bill but not if the bills are imported. Being able to run a report to show any duplicated supplier invoices that have slipped through the net would be amazing.
2 votesThanks for confirming, Kayleigh 🙂 In this case you should find the Payable Invoice Summary report which you could either Group or Filter for Reference 'contains'. This way you should be able to scroll through your invoice within the date range and quickly pick up where there is more than one bill entered wit the same reference.

Cash Summary report - Need to run by user defined period

I think the cashflow forecasting tool in Xero is a great idea (better executed than in other software due to the payment 'expected date' feature). However, I really need to look at the cashflow in smaller increments than 1 month as I am actively managing it. For me 1 week increment would work. I would suggest the ability to set the report dates myself. In terms of the comparison options those would not be affected because 1 previous 'period' would just mean going back an equal amount of time as that defined by the user. Reports - Refresh page to load report in new organisation
At the moment on the old P&L and Balance Sheet reports if you change the company on another tab and have the P&L and B/S open in another tab if you press F5 on your keyboard it will update to the new company you have changed to. This feature is not available on the new P&L & B/S which will be the only source from July. I really need this F5 function on the new reports as I have 20 ledgers to run and if I have to keep re-running the P&L & B/S at month end it…

If needed you can also filter these reports by Contact.
For ageing periods on a customer's statement - we have an idea for this that we've shared on and to be upfront we don't have any plans in the foreseeable future.
Supplier statements have been discussed on a different idea. However, we want to be upfront this isn't planned.

A report to support this leave
Employees are submitting leave as per there payslips and have no knowledge that this is not actual leave. They may not have been with our company 12 months or it's accured leave which only becomes actual on their anniversary. Organisation Settings - Allow seperate branch codes for STP and TPAR
Xero provides for only one ATO Branch code to be recorded for an organisation in Settings / Organisation details. Also, Xero does not require a branch code to be recorded for Single Touch Payroll (STP) which would be resulting in a number of cases where the ATO is contacting clients and practitioners regarding incorrect branch codes for STP and requiring correction of STP filings which is time consuming and complex.

Payable invoice summary and detail reports - Select groups to filter by
when i filter through Payable invoice Report, it only allows to select groups containing but not excluding certain contact groups. i have only suppliers under no group, Euros & DD and i wish to exclude these within DD group to be excluded to avoid double paying them.

Reports - Add multi currency for intercompany reporting
The functionality to allow for intercompany reporting when the currencies are different between the organisations - for this we would need to be able to create an asset/liability account in a currency other than the local currency. This would eliminate any Foreign exchange gains/losses on intercompany balances.

Reporting - Add an Account column to the Contact Transaction detail report
It would be GREAT (ok essential) to have the "Related account" column available here.
A list of transactions by contact at it is, with date,VAT and total amount is ok but a CRUCIAL column is missing.
"Related account" column is crucial/ essenital/ a mist because we often need to check consistency of posting to the correct account, which we cannot do right now.

Bank reconciliation - summary of multiple accounts
I would like to see a report that listed all the bank accounts, their balance at the report date and the date of the last imported bank statement line. For a company with more than a handful of accounts it would make it much easier to see which accounts needed to be brought up to date for accounts prep.

AU Payroll - Remove past employees from drop-down menu in payroll reports
It would be great to be able to remove past employees from the drop-down menus when generating Payroll reports. This would be particularly helpful for businesses who employ a lot of staff members, especially if there's a high churn rate.

Full Cash Flow Reporting and Budgeting
Cash summary report is OK but full cashflow forecasting and reporting (P&L plus Non Operating) is imperative for clients to forecast and track bank movement. This is available in MYOB Essentials (only thing it has over Xero really). Please please please
