  3. Currently the file sizes generated in uploading receipts is unnecessary large - I often see 3Mb for a coffee receipt! This is problematic when onward charging expenses to customers (and requires manually resizing before adding to an invpice which is time consuming) and must be costing you a fortune in data storage. Why isn't the file size limited to a sensible size or at least configurable by the user?

  4. Where clients are subscribers to their own Xero but add an adviser who is linked to a Xero partner practice, it would be useful if there was an option for them to choose to give the practice as a whole access so that if, eg, their contact leaves, the practice administrator can give access to their new contact as long as they are Partner Staff.

  5. Expose the staff billable rate on the XPM API?

    The billable rate for staff timesheets/tasks aren't available for jobs until they are invoiced, and there's no way for integrations with XPM to understand the in-progress cost of a job without getting the staff billable rate... or if there's an override on the job.

  6. We have been trying to match up a self assessment refund we have received for a client but can't find the matching amount.

    Would be possible to say add an extra line onto the dashboard which shows that year's tax return amount to be paid or refunded.

  7. Allow users to add columns for Partner, Manager, Client Group, Xero file type and subscription owner.
    We have staff that work for a particular Partner's clients. It would be great to be able to filter the client list by all of the above information so that they can be easily identified for updating new staff permissions.

  10. When using the report builder in XPM and going into the samples tab - there is a lot of reports and it can be quite overwhelming. Tags for types of reports / ways to search / filter the list would be a great addition for being able to work out the sample report that would be most beneficial to build out for my needs.

  11. When completing a tax return for foreign residents we needed to adjust the discount rate for the property that they had sold. Xero had no way for us to change the discount percentage so we said that we used the other method to not include discount and then added the discount we should be able to claim to the costs in the Capital Gain Worksheet. As per Xero Support this was the only solution. Can you please incorporate a way for us to change the discount rate of a CGT event?

When preparing annual financial statements and performance reports for auditors, it is important that the contents page and accountant's disclaimer report come before the statements that the auditor needs to refer to in their audit opinion, so that they report on pages 5 to 17, not 5 to 7 and 9 to 17. It causes unnecessary costs to both accountants and auditors each year to change round and get this done manually.

    Thanks for raising as an idea here, Inna. While it's not possible to delete a tax agents logo atm you could upload a blank white picture as the logo where you'd like to remove the existing. 

    We don't have any direct plans around this atm, but we'll get a sense of the interest here and let you know if there's any progress.

  16. Since the creation of the new Job Manager, we are now unable to bulk add new staff members to staff allocations within a job.

    You can bulk add the jobs, but then you need to manually do the job allocations for each job

    When you have a new staff member and you want to assign them to 300 jobs, it would make it easier if we could do this in bulk rather than on a job by job basis.

  18. Please add the functionality to set a cessation of trade date for a company in liquidation or in the insolvency process to allow for accounts and corporation tax returns to be produced from the last year end to the date of cessation of trade/insolvency.

    This will enable Accountants to produce these closing accounts and CT returns from HMRC and so offer a one stop shop and earn more revenue.

  20. When an email is forwarded to Hubdoc, only the body of the email is captured (if you have that option ticked in the settings). We need the full email sent to Hubdoc captured in the document created by Hubdoc, ie please include the email fields FROM, TO, SUBJECT, DATE as well as the body of the email, ie the full email that was sent to Hubdoc. Often we have to reply to the email that has been sent and we only have access to the version sent to Hubdoc as the original email is often sent to the clients email…
