  2. Xero HQ Should have functionality to generate Ledger, profit and loss account and balance sheet for all the clients in one go under sitting under practice. This will help to understand clients business performance etc and will make peer comparison easier.

  3. Would love to be able to bulk assign a contact to multiple clients in XPM. We are in the process of cleaning up the duplicate contacts as the existing contacts can now be re-used across multiple clients. We found it very time-consuming to assign contact one by one.

  4. Sync all data to Xero HQ.

    We have been moved over to single client record and need notes and custom fields to be synced as well please.

    This would prevent the need to manually update client records and prevent risk of out of date data.

    Thanks for contributing to this idea, everyone. As part of the single client record we've recently made a change so now when you record a client note in Xero HQ or Xero Practice Manager each system are now reflected in the other.

    We appreciate there is a second part of the idea here surrounding custom fields. Custom fields are being developed with current work the team have underway, and eventually you'll be able to see custom fields reflected in both systems (Xero HQ and XPM), too. We'll keep you updated of further news for this here. 

  5. Change wording of Medicare Levy has it is a double negative. Change the wording to something like: how many days were you not covered by private health?

  6. Productivity Reports

    I am using report builder to create a productivity report for my staff. What i would like to show on the report is:

    Capcity reducing time + billable time + non-billable time = total time for week

    I would then like a productivity percentage calculated as billable time / (billable + non-billable).

    I would also like this report to have a YTD actual column and YTD budget column so that on one report I can see how productivity as been for the most recent week but also YTD on the on the report.

    This will then tell me…

  7. Open up report fields so that you can select the "Tax Statement Balance" Field as well as the "Payment Amount" field. This gives us the ability to compare what XPM has as due and what the IRD has as due without having to export and complete complicated Excel actions.

  9. Currently, when jobs are imported using a .csv file, the job number sequence is not updated and this has to be manually update it once the jobs have been imported.

    As jobs will need to be imported in manageable batches, there is room for errors to occur if the job number sequence does not automatically update.

    Can this be something that is looked into this coming year?

    You will need to manually update it once you've imported all your jobs.

  11. There could be many possible things to be able to track in there, but I would like to be able to:

    Limit the 'states' shown to things I am directly involved with like 'For review' and 'For Invoicing'.

    My secretary would want to see states that apply to her like 'to sign'.

    Only show 'Priority level' High and Urgent (with the flick of a keystroke)

    Possibly allow some of the functionality in the 'jobs' tab or the report builder to be 'saved' in the dashboard screen like mini tables that update real time?

  13. Make Secondary review points editable and able to be deleted as can the Primary review points. It's an obvious and frustrating omission for Users of Xero Workpapers.

  14. Not an idea really but a bug which needs fixing.
    A lot of suppliers like FedEx for example send $0 bills which HubDoc is unable to publish to Xero as the Tax and Subtotal amounts is calculated wrongly despite the bill's Total Amount of $0.00 being correctly detected. As a result the invoice cannot be published to Xero.

  17. HubDoc is a great app but it is frustrating to use in the browser version as the left hand column doesn't display enough characters and the user cannot drag-to-expand the column width.

    So to let us see the entire 'Tags' description please enable expand this column.

  18. have supplier inv reference picked up in hubdoc and posted through to xero so xero can show in supplier reconciliations . so supplier canrecognise our ledger . also avoid hours trying to cross refer supplier invoice reference queries to the associated hubdoc unless obvious by date

  19. Job statuses. Is there a way that when a job moves from one status to the next, it automatically timestamps these movements. It's time consuming having to add a note of these changes.

  20. Has anyone else noticed since they made the dreaded and catastrophic changes in the contact view screen that you can't easily drag and drop attachments anymore?
    Now you have to go to the files tab first and drop it in the predefined window. You used to be able to just drag and drop anywhere in the window and it would attach.

    You also used to be able to add documents from the files section like you still can with the bills and invoices, this feature no longer exists in contacts so now you have to download the document from files…

    We appreciate hearing your feedback on the changes we're making, Fiona. We made an update to the files upload on a contacts record not long ago so you can now attach files that have been uploaded to your files library, like you could before. 


    There is a slight change as you mention where when you'd like to drag & drop a file you'll need to drag it to the box on the screen. It's not something we have plans for changing in the short term but we'll begin to get a sense of the interest in this here and let you know if there are any updates.
