    Hi everyone, while this is an idea that our team would like to explore, there are other pieces of work priortised for the time being. We'll shift the status of this idea back to submitted. When there is more news to share around this we'll be back to update you all, here. 

  3. Ability to add a default accountant's signature in the accountants' report. This would mean that the we do not have to sign each and every report before sending to client to approve and sign the balance sheet.

  4. We work in small teams and it would be great if we could get a "Staff" drop down added for the client set up. So we could know the partner on the account, the lead accountant/manager and the staff member that works on the file so we know who to approach for various issues :)

  5. Automatic Activity Statements - Partner/Manager Fields.
    Is there a way for the creation of Automatic Activity Statement Jobs to have the Partner and Manager for the entity pre-filled on generation?
    It is time consuming to go through each AAS Job and assign Partner/Manager so it appears in worklists.

  8. Xero Practice Manager -

    There is a report in XPM, Client Revenue Report, this is great for end of year reporting by client. Unfortunately there is no opportunity to select a comparative. Can we please have the ability to run this report in the same manner as the Income by Contact report in Xero Blue. Thanks.

  9. 1.Hubdoc can become very slow and mostly crashes when inputting the contact in the destination section.

    1. Hubdoc also slows when you use 'extracted tax rate' and 'generate line items' the box that comes up to input the data takes a while and then trying to scroll on the document with this box Infront it takes a while too

    2. I find that the when i generate line items I need to manually amend the tax rate on each line as its over calculated it by a few pennies and i am unable to do this

  11. It would be great to have an option to prepare a CT600 only: We prepare a number of accounts for friendly societies so don't file accounts for them, but we do need to file CT600s for them.

  12. Xero currently defaults to print/show TFNs on 2017 or older returns (eg Show TFN ticked). However it defaults to NOT print/show on 2018 - 2023 returns. We have been told this is something we cannot change in our settings, it would be a much safer option if we were able to control this setting, or at least have it all operating the same way.

  13. Is it possible to have a "heads up" on what changes are being planned.
    For example, the procedure for client deletions has just been changed so that a client with IRD Number/Tax Return cannot be deleted, with no notification to us as users that the change was being contemplated, let alone actually happened.
    This then leaves us asking for the change to be undone.
    If been advised beforehand, could have suggested options which be suitable to all parties and mean that reprogramming is not required.

  15. One should be able to create tax returns for Companies that switched their Financials years to calendar year, to avoid late lodgements. For Example, for the companies whose financial year is 1 Jan,2022 to 31 Dec,2022, need to wait till Jun 2023 to file their tax returns

  16. Ability to Delete a Client from Xero Practice Manager if they have an IRD Number and/or Tax Returns.
    Have found that XPM has been updated so can no longer delete a Client if they have either and IRD Number or Tax Returns (including Archived Tax Returns). Client has to be Archived instead. Wanting to delete especially in cases such as the Client being deceased, rather than having to Archive (especially as Archived Clients can still appear in reports).

  19. It's a small annoyance - but an annoyance all the same.
    (mostly I am annoyed with myself for forgetting the two sections are different ;)

    In the Destinations section of Publish & Proceed - when you start typing in a Contact name if it doesn't yet exist you get the option to add as a new contact - and the beginning of the name you've typed staysa in the box. Then you finish typing it in and hit Create.

    But above, in the Transaction Details section when the first letters don't pull up a known supplier, and you hit +Add…

Would be great for team members to be able to enter timesheet credits for flexitime hours over their standard daily hours, without having to enable the Financial privileges option in Staff settings (as this then provides visibility to all timesheets, ability to lock/unlock timesheets, ability to enter time for other team members, along with various practice financial report features etc).
