  1. Xero Practice Manager - XPM History / Audit Trail
    Please consider having a history or audit trail for XPM like you have on Xero Accounting.
    This way we can see what anything was created deleted or edited, by which staff member, and when this event happened.
    This would be greatly helpful for problem solving and to keep staff accountable.

  4. It would be helpful to merge clients in XPM where two accounts have been created (different names) and tax returns filed under each one. For example a client entered under their maiden name and married name who have filed tax returns. In our case a duplicate was accidently created when doing the return and we have no way to now shift the tax return to the correct and active client account in XPM.

  5. Reports - Advisor Report functionality recommendations:
    1. Ability to add any report (including customized/saved/published reports) to Advisor report packages. I only see a limited selection of reports from the Add Report dropdown. I feel like I should be able to add any report I want.
    2. Ability to add separator pages easily (like "supplementary information" page) that don't have the company name/date in the header. This would also be useful for adding a letter / accountant's report on letterhead.
    3. Ability to customize the cover page for wording, layout, logo, etc.

  7. When doing a CTR for a client that has an ARBN. There is no ARBN field to enter this detail for our client.
    Can you please create a ARBN field and for this to pull from the clients details onto the CTR - as per the attached screenshot of the CTR

  9. We have staff accountants who work in teams. Ideally, we want them to have the "Manager Role" but when that is the case they can only see Workpapers they have created.

    We would prefer to have the option to give staff with "Manager Role" the ability to see and edit all Practice current and/or archived workpapers.

    The alternative is to give them a Partner Role which has a lot of other access we don't really want them to have (ie restore/delete, etc).

    - created date
    - Who created

    - who sent it

    Appreciate wanting history for Xero Ask queries. 

    This was briefly looked into, however I do want to confirm that there are no plans for developing history for Xero Ask at this time.  


    We'll move the status of this idea back to submitted and continue to get a sense of the interest around this, here. 

  11. The dividends are not sorted alphabetically in the return, although they are sorted in the prefill. Can we have the ability to sort fields included in the individual tax return worksheets, such as Item 11 Dividends, Item D5 Other work Expenses, and other similar fields.
    This will make it easier to check and compare, and it looks much more professional.

  12. Ask Queries - Automated reminders
    The ability to have automated reminders on Ask queries would save substantial time (and reduce likelihood of things getting forgotten) and reduce likelihood of having to go to an alternative paid app in order to get this functionality (eg ContentSnare)

    Thanks for sharing with us here, team. We know bulk actions is important to helping you move quicker when using Xero. Our product team are working on bulk actions within Job Manager so you'll soon be able to bulk update multiple jobs at once, such as the job state, priority, start or due dates. I'll shift this across to working on it and round back to share when it's live.

    Would it be possible to allow us to import the staff assignment via the CSV import file rather than assigning staff afterwards. Same for the template, category and job state.

    Regarding the bulk staff assignment function, could we add filters and have the columns sort when you click on the column headings of this section please.

    These two short comings is creating a huge delay in annual job creation for routine jobs.

    No we cannot use re-curing jobs as XPM does not have the functionality yet to choose the date on which the re-curing job is created, you…

  16. For new suppliers in Hubdoc, the supplier transaction in Hubdoc at the top should continue into the Xero configuration - if it is in the Hubdoc transaction section it should continue to the bottom section in the xero configuration rather than having to enter it as a new supplier in the Xero section. Also it would be easier if xero was just to add the new supplier automatically rather than having to select add new contact every time.

  17. It'd be great if we could have a "Mark as Complete" option for Document Packs. We've got a bunch of Doc Packs that will forever sit in 'sent' because of various reasons and it would be great to clean them up.
    Examples of these situations - when a doc pack is sent to multiple people, and maybe one of them dropped into the office to sign the financials in person - we've now got a partly signed document in a Doc Pack, and a physical signature as well.   18. When there is a Managed Fund distribution on the prefill, the distribution is automatically entered into the Managed fund distribution worksheet. If there is no figure, it pulls through a $0.00 which leads to a $0.00 at the primary producer label L. This then automatically triggers the income averaging to which you manually have to OPT out of. Please fix this issue.
