  1. Allow us to access Xero Tax in advance of the year end - company and self assessment - as it stands we cannot even set up the details/schedules we know we will need. In other software you could load up the information before the year end date had passed to give the client an estimate of tax liability as the year progresses. Furthermore, this allows you to load information as you receive it - e.g. Company Director dividends to self assessments as you complete company accounts

    While there isn't a direct filter for account codes in Xero right now, you could potentially explore the option to use Contact groups or tracking categories to help sort clients in this report.

    We'll keep an eye on the interest on this idea here, and let you know if there are any updates.

  3. Need the option to add multiple organizations to one client record. At present we are forced to create a duplicate client.

  5. Help business owners and team leaders easily identify where staff have submitted time for a week that is less than their capacity. That could be something on the dashboard or a report. XPM currently allows a staff member timesheet to be submitted without any warning that it is below the capacity amount. I shouldn't need to manually review and compare to the different capacity hours for full time and part time staff.

  7. Make the Job 'State' an editable field when running report.

  8. Currently Hubdoc rounds unit prices to two decimal points, despite Xero itself allowing multiple. Invoices where we record units/unit price are unable to be correctly recorded in Hubdoc due to this errant rounding.

  9. XPM Billing - Ability to bill more than the WIP without WIP write-on.

    If XPM allows carrying credits forward for future use against more work in the future, similar to other traditional practice management software, that would be great. For example, Once we completed the job, we sent out the work with our invoice. If we can carry credits of an hour or two for clients to review the work, discuss and send back the signed copy, lodged & sent assessment etc. This additional time can be offset against the credits that we billed more than the WIP so we…

  10. XPM job financial summary is available from the job screen and financial tab, under "print financial summary". As currently prepared the financial summary does not report actual invoices and total amount invoiced, in addition the report does not include the profitability measures for rate per hour and recovery percentage. This would be useful to have these calculated and presented at the top of the report.

    1/ For ACTIVITY STATEMENTS - xero already retrieves the bpay details. Can Xero retrieve the Auspost billpay details, and ATO PRN details for credit card payment too to be printed/esign emailed when generating the Activity statement?

    2/ For Income tax returns - for entities that have a payable result, can Xero retrieve the bpay, post billpay, and PRN details that can be printed/esign emailed along with the tax return?

    3/ and for ITR, can Xero retrieve the bpay, post billpay, and PRN details so that it can be sent along with the OoA email/print out?

  13. Home page or landing page -- can you put the "go to xero" button on the left of the client's name? The new page makes it so I have to scroll so far to the right to get to those buttons, that I no longer know which client is on which line of the table. It is harder to log in and go directly to my client's books now.

  14. I have recently started switching clients to the New BAS Experience - Full BAS.
    I run the Activity Statement and export it so I can check the "Transactions by Tax Rate" and make changes.
    I have noticed that when I click back on the "Summary" tab, the report does not automatically update (it does under previous BAS experience) and there is also no "Update" or "Refresh" button.
    The only way to get the report to update is to hit the refresh on the web browser.
    This is another case of removing functionality.

  15. I use Xero Tax to prepare all my self-assessment returns for clients and I'd like to send out a reminder this month of the POA due at the end of the month along with their UTR references. Is there any way to produce a report from Xero Tax summarising this information by client which could be exported to Excel and used as basis for a mail merge? If not, this would be really helpful and presumably, as the information is already held in Xero Tax to generate the Payment Reports this should not be very complex to develop. Thanks

  16. It would be useful to be able to email tax returns direct from XERO tax. Returns sent by XERO sign can only be viewed by a client in their entirity prior to signing if they have an ADOBE account.

  19. A way to post partially dormant accounts when moving from trading to dormant within a tax year. Currently in Xero Tax, you'd have to choose between the options 'Active throughout part of the period for corporation tax purposes' where you can only choose when the company started trading. The other option you could select is 'Dormant throughout the period for corporation tax purposes' and then choose the option 'Company has traded in previous period, tax return is required'.

    Both options will allow you to create a CT600, however there isn't an option to choose when the company ceased trading or…
