  2. The 3.1 version of the API only gives UUIDs instead of numeric IDs. I would like to see all URLs on the website accept either UUID or numeric ID. This already seems to be partially supported, but I would like to see full parity with numeric IDs and UUIDs.
     
    E.g. When viewing a client, the url is:
    https://practicemanager.xero.com/Client/{NUMERIC_ID}/Detail
    but the website will handle a uuid here too
    https://practicemanager.xero.com/Client/{UUID}/Detail

    Similarly for a job
    https://app.practicemanager.xero.com/job/jobview.aspx?id={NUMERIC_ID}
    https://app.practicemanager.xero.com/job/jobview.aspx?uuid={UUID}

    But unfortunately viewing a group is only possible with numeric ID
    https://practicemanager.xero.com/Group/{NUMERIC_ID}/Members
    but not as
    https://practicemanager.xero.com/Group/{UUID}/Members

  3. I conduct many Zoom meetings and review an existing Word interview checklist and ATO Authorization with my clients. To automate the process, I would like to add my current checklist and ATO authorization with Xero tax fields as a template. When the interview is completed, the checklist and ATO authorization must be sent to the client for signature.

  4. Can we have a setting to enable the status section of the Xero destination tab to enable the user to select the status for all documents to be either - draft, awaiting approval or awaiting payment. this save time in having to select this each time a document is uploaded.

  5. Can you please post up instructions on how business owners can setup novated leases for their employees and also identifying the process where the vehicle is FBT exempt or subject to FBT. We have had a few of our clients ask why Xero doesn't provide much guidance regarding this issue.

  7. Hi,

    Would be great if we had the ability to stop provisional tax letters being generated for non-clients if their IRD numbers are entered into XPM. This creates a lot more work during prov tax times as the list is long and needs to be reviewed so these letters are not accidently sent.

  8. It would be great if you add a payslip template that allows to customise the user per their standards.
    Also if an option of adding a recurring/permanent note on payslip for employee can be made available for users, it helps save time.

  9. When using find and recode it would be helpful to show the grand total of the line total column at the bottom. This way you know if the isolated transactions in your Excel worksheet matches with all the conditional filtered transactions in find and recode.

  10. The ability to see the history of an item's selling pricing within the Invoicing screen would be extremely helpful. Sales staff would be able to quickly access the selling price history of items within the Invoice screen to ensure that the latest price is used on invoices.

    The ability to see this history within the invoice screen will also remove the need to access a separate report in Xero to view the history of inventory item sales price, which will save a lot of time.

  12. I would like a small change where the Accumulated Depreciation is a default column in the depreciation schedules report generated from Xero. I work with a significant number of clients who we run depreciation for each year and I would like to see the Accumulated Depreciation amount in the report by default without having to update the templates in every client file.

  14. I still have lots of staff asking to see a Group Certificate, especially if they have not put their tax in for a few years. It would be great if we could generate a "dummy" group certificate for the staff member, after the end of financial year. It give them the info they want immediately and adds professionalism to our company if we can provide what they need.

  15. Features to allow user to enter both "Documents Date" and "Posting Date" when we record for any single transaction instead only one column of "Date".

    For example, the invoice date could be 30 of Jun 2024 but as we receive this invoice later, on 10 of Jul. With this, I cannot book this invoice in Jun ledgers, because the month had closed. So, I have to book (post) the invoice in Jul ledgers, on 10th.

  16. see CX0015377165. I was informed on 5/8/24 that the HELP repayments on green xero tax estimate is being calculated incorrectly.

    It would help if xero has a dedicated errors page to notify users of potential bugs/mistakes so that when we do advise our clients, we can provide them accurate information and disclaimers - such as telling them that the tax estimate on xero is currently not working, so we will have to prepare you a separate but correct tax estimate.

  17. For the first year of using Xero Tax, as the returns are new and have not been rolled over from a prior year, the contact name defaults to the Job Manager in the Xero Tax Return. There should be an option to adjust the contact default across the practice so that the Tax Agent/Practice name appears on the tax return not the job manager. There are some clients who would be upset seeing an unfamiliar name on their tax return. At present, the only way to change the contact name showing on the tax return is to manually adjust each…
