  1. Xero Tax (UK) Ability to bring across more than 30 Fixed Assets.
    I am really disappointed to find that after entering the Fixed Asset details into the register, Xero Tax only brings across 30. Can this be looked at as manual entry could be time consuming!

  2. BAS & IAS Filters.
    We would like to be able to setup filters to separate BAS's & IAS's that have the same due date.
    There is the option in the filter, tax type, to select 'Business Activity Statement' or 'Instalment Activity Statement', however, all Activity Statements are listed as tax type AS. We would like to be able to change the tax type to either be BAS or IAS.

  3. It would be nice to have a report where you show the Transaction Date, Account, Check Number, Description, Coding.

    Currently the Check Number is not a data field that you can put into a report.

  4. In the XPM report builder, when a firm is working as a team based client and each team composed of several staff. It would be beneficial to have the option to include additional fields of the job manager and partner in the invoice report. Currently, we are only able to select the manager and partner at the client level.

    If this feature were added, it would enable the accurate generation of reports for each staff member who completes a job and track better if each staff has a KPI of a particular budget that he/she needs to reach each month.

  6. Id like to have a placeholder for the prior period when using the recurring jobs function.
    When you complete a bookkeeping job you are doing this on prior period data so the recurring job functionality to use 'period' is not useful as it creates the workflow job a week in advance.

  7. Reporting on XPM - I need to run a report from XPM that shows me ALL our clients who haven't had a job booked in yet showing the name "2023" so I can then chase them for checklists.

    I can't see how to run a report that shows this. I really don't want to have to run multiple reports and compare things off - with over 1200 clients this takes an awful long time.

    There has to be a simpler way.

  9. It would be really useful to be able to apply rounding adjustment (similar to those on the SOCE) for items in the accounts, but done on the face of the accounts. For example a use of home allowance will be a journaled amount each year, usually the same year on year. On a large number of accounts that i have produced recently this is rounded up one year and then rounded down the next year. This makes the accounts look messy and no amount of journaling the figures on the trial balance (which wastes significant time) will get this to…

  11. Re the home office workpaper. It seems to calculate soley on a percentage basis yet under DB 18AA, we can claim interest/rent and rates in proportion of business use, as well as $47.85 (for 2022 and future years) per square metre (PSMR) (IRD square meterage rates) as a proxy for general home expenditure. There doesn't seem to be a workaround in the workpaper to opt for the PSMR for the general expenditure claim? Would be great for team members to be able to enter timesheet credits for flexitime hours over their standard daily hours, without having to enable the Financial privileges option in Staff settings (as this then provides visibility to all timesheets, ability to lock/unlock timesheets, ability to enter time for other team members, along with various practice financial report features etc).
