XPM - Notes & Fonts option on Recurring jobs
Would be great to have a notes section under "description" in recurring jobs in XPM as well as the ability to change font type,size & colour

Reports - Show/hide the Report Builder (header) when printing to PDF
Report builder offers the ability to print PDF reports which is great but if needing to use these for external purposes, e.g. a timesheet detail report to supplement an invoice, the criteria/header portion currently has to be printed also. It would be great to have an option to show/hide the criteria/header when printing to PDF.

Workpapers - PAYG Instalments section (issue with June CY on Balance Sheet rec)
On the Income Tax workpaper, the first section Tax Provision per P&L has a Less PAYG installments (sic) section.
Xero prefills the dates (e.g. for 2020 FY workpapers):
September 2019
December 2019
March 2020
June 2020All good so far, you can enter the PAYG Instalments that will be included on the tax return.
The final line FY20 Tax to pay/(refund) then agrees to the company tax return.The second section Balance Sheet Income Tax Reconciliation has a Less PAYG installments (sic) section.

Workpapers - Ability to change the terms in the Borrowing Costs/Amortisation
The ability to change the term of the write off schedule in the Borrowing Costs/Amortisation workpaper for situations where clients have loans of a longer or shorter term than the set 60 month period.

XPM - Default staff checkbox as ticked when allocated to a job
After the recent XPM change where a user can allocate staff to multiple jobs from the Jobs menu, the staff at the Task level are added but the checkbox is not ticked. This means that the staff member can see the job in their timesheet, but not the tasks associated with that job, so cannot book time.
Support have advised they are aware this has changed and do not have a solution to get around this currently, other than manually going into each job and filling the tick box for each staff member for each task. As we create and…

In XPM the client access options under staff permissions includes View, Edit, Create and Delete. Please also add Archive as an option.

Xero Practice Manager - Report on WIP control by manager or partner
We have a number of firm incentives for both partners and managers relating to their individual client portfolios. An ability to review their control of WIP, billings and receipts should not be a major effort. Or is Pulse the answer?

leads - Existing activities to auto allocate to owner
When we set up a new lead and allocate it to an owner, the activities should auto allocate to the owner, instead it is setting to the responsibility of the admin person setting up the lead resulting in additional time taken to reallocate each of the the activities causing unnessary time consumption

XPM - Include task start and due dates in job imports.
As XPM integrates with FYI workflow, and you can toggle between viewing a workflow by jobs or by task, it would be a massive help if when importing annual compliance job templates with pre-defined tasks, you can define the task start and due date as part of the import and not have to individually go through and update these once the jobs have deployed.

We should be able to Import data from Xero Ledger to Xero tax to Label 11 and 18 and other non business schedule labels. Currenly we cannot import dividends, interest and other expenses for investment entities which do not operate a business

Hubdoc - Purchase Order Field Extracted to Transaction Detail Window
I believe it would be of great help to extract the Purchase Order code from the invoice into hubdoc.
It is very important to create a simple path from the begging of creating a purchase order to finally paying for the product or service and having a way to connect it all together, I believe the purchase order number is a vital part of the process and can be referenced throughout the whole process.
Would be great to hear some feedback on this idea!

XPM | Files - Integrate shared google drives with XPM
Right now it's not possible to connect XPM to a google drive other than 'My Drive' for a Google Drive user. We hold all our client data on a separate Google workspace drive that is shared within the company and want to connect this client drive, so that tasks and clients on XPM can be linked to client folders or documents in the shared client google drive.
Its not feasible to move those client folders from the shared drive to 'My Drive' in order to access these on Xero practice Manager, and instead we have to paste long link addresses…

AU Tax - Add due date to tax on OOA sent to client
Import the due date of amounts payable as per the OOa to the dates tax payable field and add a placeholder in the OOa template for date amount due.

This will allow us to see unbilled WIP for a job all in one spot, instead of having to go to a different screen or run a separate report.

Job WIP Balances Report - Criteria Search
I would like to be able to have a selection of criteria for the standard Job WIP Balances Report that allows me to produce that report by certain fields in the report ie Name, State. Also by adding the following criteria would also save me a lot of time exporting and trying to sort by:
1. Client Group; or

Xero Tax (UK) | Prepare Accounts for Dissolved Company
If a company is dissolved Companies House reports back that there are no year end date outstanding. But there are circumstances when you need to prepare axcounts for a dissolved company - for instance if you need to get the company re-instated. But Xero prevents you from progressing. All you would need to do is enter a year end date manually and you would be able to continue.

XPM - Option to rename and/or disable unwanted "Business Structure" types
There is currently no functionality to either re-name or disable the standard business structure types provided in XPM. For example "Not for Profit" is technically an entity classification - a NFP classification could apply to a Private Company, a Public Company or an Incorporated Association to name a few examples. We have used custom fields to profile these types of classifications separately. Currently, we have to manually review business structure profiles & update these where types outside our guidelines have been applied. It would save a great deal of hassle if unwanted types could be re-configured or disabled at practice…

Job Manager - Create a 'To do' list of recurring tasks
Create "to do" lists in tasks, and allowing them to become a template - this would make it so much easier when creating jobs - gives staff a tick off for each task if required.
Would be so much easier than currently doing it through a Job Level and having to create tasks with "To Do' lists individually.

XPM - Report that shows clients and their income/turnover
We are in the process of organizing our client list for Audit Shield and like many other accounting firms we need to assign our clients a Turnover category. Currently Xero informs me there is no report I can run that will list the clients and their turnover for me to easily identify which category to assign to the client for audit purposes.
A report that shows the client, their income/turnover and the possibility to group and total buy the Client Group would be amazing and save so much unnecessary admin time.
