  3. I wanted to put a suggestion that when hubdoc is getting the totals, that they get the correct total and maybe even a prompt when it is unsure of the subtotal and total. I have had a few issues come up where hubdoc is bringing in the incorrect total.

  4. It would be useful to be able to email tax returns direct from XERO tax. Returns sent by XERO sign can only be viewed by a client in their entirity prior to signing if they have an ADOBE account.

  5. We would like to be able to run a listing of physical payments made to IRD by clients over a date range that shows the client name, IRD number, payment date recorded by IRD, tax type and the tax period/year that it was applied to.

    This would enable us to easily identify when clients pay tax to the wrong period.

  6. Currently only able to raise progress job invoice in client. abilitiy to raise both progress and final invoice would be better than having to go to invoicing to raise final invoice.

  7. Suggestion for development - We continually have problems with WFF transfers to associated entities. We have tried phoning IRD to put a halt on the account, then follow up with secure mail advising what transfers are required - however more often than not the halt is not implemented correctly. Would be great if Xero could implement something (even a tick box identifying transfers required) that would then trigger at IRD for them to hold funds pending transfer. Alternatively the WFF credit could be added into the tax returns, and transfers done via the return. (I have worked with other tax…

  8. I would like a tax screen similar to the jobs, where I can see clients tax return status, taxes owing and overdue returns. It would be useful to have the option to update a client's return to show as not required or Auto Assess.

  15. I am frustrated that this has be added as "an idea" because it is clearly basic functionality. The structured buildings allowance doesn't roll forward each year and as such for the next 33 years I will need to re add the lines from 2023 and manually calculate the bought forwards. Not cool and in fact I will be looking for alternative software.

  19. Currently, if I am looking at a Workpaper and I click on the Flag next to an account, I can add a Review Point for that account.

    That review point shows up in the list at the bottom of the workpaper.

    If I click the flag next to the account, I can see the review points that have been added to that account... but I can't see the replies to those review points and nobody can reply to them from that area.

    I have to scroll down to the bottom to reply to the review point.

  20. US Tax - Create Schedule C Report with Full Cost (Total/Gross Cost Inclusive of Sales Tax) for tax return. Currently, it will pull the amounts without the sales tax (created when you match a transaction/enter an invoice using tax on purchases amounts) into the report, which is under-reporting the amount for the Schedule C tax deductions.

    The current work-around is to pull the transaction reports for each account and use the Gross amount from those reports in Excel to link back to the Schedule C report.
