  1. As a ND person, changes for the sake of change is frustrating, and confusing. It is too large and noisy - it is awful. How about you fix things that actually need fixing - like being able to pay more than 200 bills and stop tinkering around the edges to make a noise.

    And what is with the advertising at the bottom of the page? I PAY to use Xero, I don't want advertising bombarding me as well.

    Appreciate your feedback, Kate. However want to be upfront here that the new Homepage will be the experience for all customers moving forward, and the old Dashboard will soon be removed.

    Understand there are improvements our customers would like to see in other areas of Xero and our product teams regularly consider and take support for ideas here in the platform into their product planning decisions. We will be sure to update if there is any movement for an idea you've supported.

    In terms of the advertising you mentioned - it sounds like you may be referring to the App recommendations? If so, you can Edit homepage where you'll see an option to 'Hide' this section.

  2. Improvements to the homepage should be considered essential. NOT A USER-INITIATED IDEA!!!
    Really - it's a good IDEA to have a functional system????

    Sorry to hear your frustration here, Karen. We understand there are different ways our customers feel the homepage would best work for their needs. Please know our product teams are taking on board all the feedback from the forums here.

    Ideas and the ability for customers to vote and share more detail about how a feature would benefit them helps our product teams understand the wider needs and get a quantitative view of the interest for a change. It also means we can keep you updated of any progress we make toward solving for an idea.

    I really do encourage you to keep engaging and sharing with us through Xero Product Ideas.

  3. I looked at your Product Ideas page and stupidly liked a couple of ideas. Now I get dozens of emails from Xero saying so-and-so has a new comment. I've unsubscribed over and over and over again TO NO AVAIL.

    What kind of web designers are you? It can't be that hard to allow people to unsubscribe from hearing about all the other people who agree that you've cocked up the redesign. Are there actually real people doing the designing and coding at Xero or are you just a bunch of bots now?

    Really do appreciate your feedback here, Catherine and I'm sorry to hear the trouble you're having with email notifications.

    If you login to Xero Product Ideas and click your initials in the top right of the screen go to Settings & Activity you will see options for notifications on the left side of the page.

    Please do respond to my update here if you continue to receive these and I can look into this further for you.

  4. Make "Import bank statement" link work for internal bank accounts

    We use bank accounts for internal accounts and tills. I upload the statement using excel. I can do this within the account, but strangely not from the homepage.

    Hi Sue, you should be able to see the 'Import bank statement' option in the 3 dot menu for any bank accounts on your homepage including the internal bank accounts.

    If this isn't working for you, it's best looked into with a closer lens. Please raise a case with our Xero Support team on Xero Central and our specialists can investigate with you 1-1. Thanks!

  5. Not a fan of the new home page, previous one was so much better, simple yet effective. I would much prefer to stay on the old one for good. The icons/widgets on the new page are too big and too busy. Previous page was simple and easy to navigate. As they say, don't fix something that isn't broken.

    Hi team, thank you for your feedback. We have 2 main ideas that relate to the sizing of the widgets and wanting a simpler layout that I welcome you to add your support to.

    However I want to be open that the new homepage will permanently become the new experience over this year. We don't accept ideas for the removal of new features, but are very open to hearing what changes you feel could better your experience of the new homepage - please feel free to start a new idea if there are other particular changes you feel could improve this experience for you.
