Homepage - Ability to add attachments to the task widget
A widget or chatbox where you can leave comments for accountant or business owner?
Ability to strikeoff and clear the comments/tasks. Ability to add attachments like screenshots or even videos will be a great feature for this widget.
This widget can sit on dashboard.

Homepage - Widget for month end review
I love the new homepage and how I can customize to make it less busy. I also love the Task widget. It would be great if there was a month end review widget showing a list of bank and credit card accounts with the last reconciliation date.

Homepage | Tasks - Bills due to be paid warning/reminder
In the tasks, it should report on the bills that are due to be paid in x period - whether that be a week or fortnight - user should be able to set it based on frequency of using the file.
This would act as a prompt to ensure payment is made.
In addition, there has not been a solution to recording a credit card statement due for payment. Being able to record the amount due and due date would really help! Fixing this would also be extremely useful

Homepage - View Notes for overpaid invoices
Critically important to our business is being able to easily view 'notes' on overdue invoices next to their overdue amount in a list. No additional click thorughs with each individual invoice number as is the current system.
Knowing when a reminder was sent and being able to view what their latest response was in a list form would massively help with managing unpaid invoices.
We create separate spreadsheets to track overdue invoices and bad debt which is inefficient.
This should be resolved with a quick view in the dashboard to ensure better debt management.

Homepage | Chart of Account Watchlist - Only show accounts with a balance
Chart of Accounts Watchlist
I would like it to only show some accounts if their balance does not equal 0
Rather than reporting it when the account is 0 and just occupying space.This would be useful for Wages Payable, Superannuation Payable, Suspense accounts and various other accounts

Homepage | Invoices owed to you widget - Move new invoice button to top
The "Invoices owed to you" widget NEEDS to have the "new invoice" button on top as before. What do we do with XERO besides accounting? Create invoices, and having to scroll down this widget is useless as ...... (fill in the blank). It's a very simple display change.

This is something we're monitoring feedback of and would be good to hear from others on your idea here that'd also appreciate this option further up the widget.
As another simple way of creating an invoice there's the keyboard shortcut '/i' that'll open Search with an option to create 'New invoice'.

Homepage | Bills to pay - Ability to drag & drop files for bills
Provide a widget where you can drop any bill, expense or invoice, right on the homepage for Xero to analyse.
2 votesHi Tom and John, not a direct drag & drop to a widget on the homepage, however from the 'Bills to pay' widget you can click Add bill > Upload bills which will direct you to Bills and pre-open the upload modal. 🙂
This isn't something we have direct plans of right now, but will get a feel of the interest from the community for the idea here.
It'd be good to track interest in this feature for Bills and Expenses separately as widget enhancements would typically be reviewed individually. I've created a new idea for this in Expenses and added you both to this for any updates.

Homepage - Projects widget with time and amount visuals
Hi,
My first thought is that the home page is overly busy. The graphs are great but there is A LOT going on. We have more than one bank account so that would make the homepage even busier. The task widget is a great idea but the recent invoice payments and chart of accounts aren't really useful for us. We would want to remove widgets that aren't used.It would be great to have a projects widget showing project time use and amount on the homepage.

We also have a couple of ideas related to simplifying the layout like you mentioned, and another for bolding of the navigation headings that you may like to vote for.

Homepage | Bills Awaiting payment - Filter out expense claims
Filter out expense claims from Bills Awaiting Payment
I input my own money occasionally into the business & don't require paying back, so the expense claim is left "open" & shows up on Bills awaiting payment - thus confusing the amount owing to Bills I have outstanding.

Homepage - "Narrow Mode" Option for Business Overview
I have a wide screen (normal width for a monitor, but wide compared to a tablet or laptop) which facilitates 4 widgets horizontally (the limit, after some testing).
The widgets take up the entire space horizontally, leaving no space either side, and feels cramped as a result. This is a break from a pretty long-standing web-design principle to which even the page I'm typing this suggestion into adheres (having about 10-15% margin/padding either side of your main content where space allows).

As you've noted the new Homepage is responsive and will auto adjust up to 4 widgets wide based on your device and computer and browsing zoom options.
We don't have any plans around enabling user based customisations to this layout but lets start by getting a gauge from community in this here 🙂

Homepage - Reduce Motion for accessibility
Looking at the new interface at https://www.xero-reimagined-nav-hp.com/ the widgets fly in from the side, and the charts all animate from zero to their full value. I have an accessibility requirement to have reduced motion, and have selected this option on my computer which the new Xero website is ignoring. Websites can use this selection as shown in https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/@media/prefers-reduced-motion and https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG22/Techniques/css/C39. Can you please implement the best practice for accessibility, and ensure all users can comfortably use your updated website by removing unnecessary animation when requested with the reduce motion option? Have the graph for the home screen with the inventory stock and flagging items with low stock.

Homepage | Widget for next Payroll
Next Payroll Wiget for Homepage
When the new homepage was launched, I was hoping for a widget that had the link to the next scheduled payroll, the draft amount, the due date, leave to approve, timesheets to approve, last payroll (perhaps), super payments, etc. Layout could be like the 'Bills to pay' widget without the chart. Given that in Australia, SGC will need to be paid each payroll, that draft amount could also be added in the widget, linking to the Super payments module.2 votesThanks for your idea and feedback here in the forums, Michael. Homepage - Remove app recommendations
How do I remove the ads from the Homepage? If I wanted extra widgets I would go looking.
If the product is missing features then Xero should be implementing them as part of the base package if I am paying a subscription.

Homepage | Bank accounts - Toggle/option to conceal bank balances
On the Dashboard and Bank Accounts pages, the bank balance could be greyed out for better privacy. There could be a simple toggle control to hide and show the numbers on the screen.

Homepage | Profit & Loss - Common date selections (like report)
Why don't I have the same Time period options in the 'Net Profit and Loss' widget as I do on the actual report page?
I want to be able to see CURRENT month, quarter, etc on my home page and not just previous.
Inconvenient to have to click on the report and then change the time period manually every time I want to see how the month is tracking instead of just having the option directly on the homepage.1 voteAppreciate the feedback, Andreas. Homepage - View total cash in banks (like on the app)
There is a widget to show our 3 bank accounts and their balances, but there is nothing that shows the total cash in bank amount?
When I log on in the app the first thing I see is the total amount of money in all our bank accounts combined. Why is it not the same when using windows?
