Homepage - Set up multiple views (Basic, Intermediate and Advanced)
Have a few options so a basic user can cut down on the noise and just have bank accounts and the profit graph, for a new user this would be overwelming.

Hi everyone, we appreciate the attention this idea has been getting. It's really good to hear how we can continue to improve the Homepage for our differing customers needs. We understand not all the widgets maybe useful to every user, and the 'Customise' button will let you add or remove widgets to reduce what you see on the Homepage.
Taking on board feedback we're looking at the sizing of widgets and you'll find the 'Chart of Accounts' and 'Cash in and out' widgets are now smaller by default with an option to 'Make larger' - You can follow further updates for this on the idea here.
We have plans to dig deeper into possible 'view' options (like the different levels of views being asked here) in the new year and I'll share further updates here when this gets picked up. 🙂

Yes, this is visually very busy and overwhelming. Would need to be able to personalise the layout to be happy with it.

Yes i agree that there should be a way to set it for them so that they don't become to overwhelmed.
I have a couple of clients that would benefit from having the full dashboard and the rest would just need half.
But how i run my business, I have a lot of full service clients, so to have a full dashboard would work so well for me. -

Yeah, I think this is a great idea.
You can maybe toggle a switch on the corner of the screen for simplified view and detailed view

My business partner and I found this view totally overwhelming and unnecessary. A lot of our small business owners would be overwhelmed and put off by this. I think opening with the basic view with the options of intermediate and advanced where you can select what you want to show would be far better.
Tasks, recent invoice payments, COA seem to be unnecessary noise to most. Less is more.

Love the new home screen view but would be great if you could not only customise your view but also resize some items to allow the screen view to flow better in the customisations
