Client - Show subscription name
Can the xero subscription name be reinstated under the client. This was available before the upgrade, now under subscription heading we can only see who subscription managed by and last viewed. I understand there is the Go to Xero blue button at the top but the name of the subscription would be great.

XPH Homepage - View full Time Sheet Entry
New Timesheet Entry - we prefer the old full page view of timesheets from the Dashboard Enter Time screen. You can't see the full page view with the timesheet notes now.
Also, the notes entry window should be shown at all times, not be click to open. People will forget to enter their timesheet notes if it is not viewable at all times (like I just did). The time popout box hides some other entry points - like editing staff client access, it shows behind the time box, and it wouldn't shut, I had to hit refresh to get rid…

Thanks for raising your idea.
However, this idea doesn’t quite meet the criteria for a “good idea” because it includes a few different things at once:
- Several separate feature requests (full-page view, always-on notes, click-through navigation)
- Plus what looks like a potential bug or performance issue (the time popout covering parts of the screen and only clearing after a refresh)

XPH - Bring back cost labels
Bring back cost labels in XPM, these are usefull when adding costs to invoices. The data base field still exists, we can see our old data when adding costs to invoices. We just cant access and edit or add new labels. Give us access to it via the back end or developer tools or API.

The cost label field was part of our legacy Suppliers functionality, which we sunsetted on 25 September 2024 as part of a wider clean-up of low‑usage features in XPM. As part of that work, the supplier options and the associated label field were removed from the Costs area.
Thanks for taking the time to share this idea with us and explain how the cost label helped you distinguish between similar costs in Xero Practice Manager.
In the meantime, a possible workaround is to build the extra detail you’d normally put in the label into either the Cost code or the Description (for example, appending a short suffix so you can still see the difference at a glance).

XPH - Hyperlinks open in new tab
Hyperlinks constantly (but not consistently) open in a new tab. This is not a necessary feature as you can already manually open hyperlinks in new tabs. Being forced to constantly open new tabs clutters existing tabs, is inconvenient and time wasting when you have to juggle tasks.

Really hard to read and favourite reports "gone"
Scrap the changes - landing screen is hard to read - just glares and the mouse over shading is distracting. Jobs should be first or at somehow at the top like the old one. Favourite reports drop down should be reinstated not just as an after thought on the Practice tab. Rendering is clunky and boxes jump around before settling - ******* the eyes. Just feels like an amateur dev has been let loose and not really thought about how practices work! Last entry in time-sheet drop down menu out of view
When using the time-sheet drop-down menu, the last item is often out of view, without the ability to scroll to it. Can this be fixed? This is an issue when there are many entries in day.
3 votesIt sounds like this appears to be a bug, where the interface isn’t scrolling as it should. The best way to get this fixed is to raise a case with our Support Team.

XPH - Partner and Manager Details Not Saving
When adding a new client, or updating existing clients, the Partner and Manager details do not save so you need to go back in and do it again 2-3 times.

Adhoc Jobs are not showing under clients, Client information
An adhoc job for a client is not showing under jobs for a client on the Client Information screen. They do show under the WIP

Error on Jobs reporting at top as none overdue on front page
Overdue jobs are reporting as zero in the summary at the top when things are actually overdue - all those in red were overdue when snip taken

Hyper link not working from milestone email
Normally when I get an email follow up sent from XPM from the milestone functionality I can click the link and it takes me to the job. Now it just takes me to an error page on the internet

Where are the tax return settings hiding? Important that we have easy access to these
Some suggestions for improving the 'old' settings in the new partner hub:
* A simpler Income Tax Client Report request would be great for quickly updating due dates
I.e Settings > Tax Agents > Select Agent > Update ATO Income Tax Client Report
* Can we have a feature that flags TFN's that are no longer on our ATO Income Tax Client Report - so that we can easily identify and archive old clients

Search auto default cursor to search field still not working?
Search auto default cursor to search field - this idea was marked as completed and the comment from Kelly indicated that this works. However, it does not seem to be working. Hitting '/' does open the search function, but the cursor does not default to the Search field (regardless of whether you select the magnifying glass using the mouse or by pressing '/'.

XPH - View Jobs assigned to me as manager, staff or partner not working
When I toggle to view jobs assigned to me as manager, staff or partner it shows zero jobs and does for all our staff. I assume this is to be fixed?

Add new job button on home page
There should be a button on the home page that allows you to create a new job.

I can see how a direct shortcut on the home page would help speed up your workflow when starting a new project.
Just in case you haven't used it yet, you can create new items quickly from any page in Xero by clicking the plus (+) icon in the top right header. Depending on the version of Xero you're using, you might find a "New Project" or "New Job" option there to save you navigating through the menus.

XPH - Search auto default the cursor to the search field
According to a previous idea - having the cursor automatically default to the search box when you click on the magnifiying glass has been actioned. But it's not working for me.
It will automatically default to the search box if I click on JAX or Help - but not the magnifying glass. Can you please investigate as it's a PITA having to click twice just to search up a client.
1 voteHi Nickie, sorry to hear the default for cursor isn't working properly for you. I have just tested this again on my end and find the cursor automatically goes to the search field by either clicking the Magnifying glass icon, or pressing '/' on my keyboard.

My returns filter not showing all Partner/Manager tax return
Hi
When you filter the tax return by "My Return" not all returns are showing up.Also the "My Returns" filter should not just work on a Job basis, a client assigned to Partner or Manager should show up on that Partner or Managers tax return list regardless of whether they have been added to the Job or not, as they are responsible for that client.

There is an issue with the Practice > Work in Progress Dashboard.
Clicking the aged WIP button for any month - the link seems to no longer work. The List Tab doesn't display anything.
