  2. There doesn't seem to be an option to delete the due date on sales invoices, my client doesn't want this to show on their sales invoices so it would be really useful if this could just be excluded

  3. The ability to mark customers to exclude from sending statements, or add more filters ( including customer groups) in statements page, which will help to find correct group of clients to send statements. This will simplify collections process.

  5. QR Code on Invoice that goes to same web location as the 'View your Bill Online' link on Invoices.

    Currently, a Xero Invoice can have a link displayed for easy/direct payment by customer.

    I would like to see the option to include a QR Code, embeded within the EMAIL sent to customers, and on the PDF attached to the Email, that translates to the same link, allowing for easy payment of printed invoices at time of delivery.

    Great for 1st time customers, Pay on Delivery or COD customers.

  6. Hi,
    Currently Xero restricts the export of Invoice / Bills to 500 rrecords at a time.

    We, I am sure like so may other Xero users are a small value per transaction - High Transaction number enviromment and therefore even if one filters on date range for one day, the number of invoices are in excess of 500. This also means that we are unable to append files for one day at a time.

    My I request Xero to remove the restriction on the number of records while exporting Invoice / Bills transactions please.

  7. Currently we can send invoices using eInvoicing through the PEPPOL network, however we can't send credit notes for any changes to these invoices. It would be good if credit notes (or at least negative invoices) would be enabled in Xero so any invoice changes could also be sent through the eInvoice system.

  8. It would be great if you could automatically allocate prepayments to an invoice once the invoice has been created. Or at least receive notification that a prepayment exists so you can manually receipt it.

    We are experiencing that clients have made extra repayments (prepayments) but when the invoice is created and sent to the client they pay the amount on the invoice and the prepayments are still sitting in the system, meaning we then have to issue a refund.

  9. When entering invoices and the account is always "sales" (for example), I would like the option to set up invoices to automatically use the "sales" account? It is currently only an option by setting up item codes and/or setting up through contacts. I would like to see it automatically assign the account at the time of entering the invoice, instead of having to type in an item code. It will save so much more time and avoid errors by users selecting an incorrect account from the chart of accounts.

  10. Create a accept quote button/link within the quote email template so clients can hit the button within their email client to accept quotes instead of having to view it online or missing it within the attached PDF quote.

  12. On an invoice search from 'All' or 'Paid' Invoices - it would be useful to able to select any or all invoices, and see the £ total of the items selected. This function exists in the Invoices 'Awaiting Payments', and 'Drafts'. On the 'Paid' invoice section, you can select the invoices but it does not show you the total £, only number of items selected. From the 'All' section there is no ability to select any invoices. It would be great if in all sections where you wanted to you can select any / all invoices and it calculates the…

  14. Regarding the Invoice interface on the Sent Column, perhaps can Xero make it into two instead? One is for the Validated E-Invoicing & the other one is for customer. The reason is now, when we send to MyInvoice, every thing has become "viewed" instead. So now I don't know whether my customer did view or not.

    I also suggest the MyInvoice under the Sent column, once the e-invoice validated, can it changed to "validated" instead of "viewed"? Like that we do not need to open another tab at the History and Notes to look up for it.

    Hi team, we appreciate your feedback here. Very soon we'll be releasing a dashboard for e-invoicing in Malaysia that'll help with your needs here.

  15. Under the old invoicing, when an invoice was emailed to a client for the first time, the email address used for that first invoice automatically populated the Contact card's email address at the time the invoice was sent.
    This meant that if the invoice was unpaid, the reminder would be able to go to the same person who received the invoice.
    However the new invoicing doesn't automatically populate the Contact's email address.
    This means an extra step is needed to ensure the Contact card is updated.
    If this step isn't taken, then the automated reminders don't go out.

    Thanks for sharing your thoughts and adding your vote to this idea! We totally get how important it is to keep your customer contact info accurate and up to date. An automatic update feature through invoicing sounds like a great way to save you some valuable time.

    Right now, if you send an invoice to an email that’s not already linked to a contact, you’ll need to add that email manually in Xero. The current setup is designed to be flexible so you can send invoices to multiple emails without changing the contact record. But we can definitely see how this feature would speed things up for you.

  16. When adding a new contcat from within an invoice, it would be useful to be able to add the contact first/last name. Currently you can only add the business name, email, phone number and addresses. That means unless you open up the new contact in a separate page to add in the contact first/last name (which is time consuming), then when the invoice is completed the email cant be addressed to the person's name. Would be much simpler to have first/last name field within the new contact section of the invoice.

  17. Please have a default bank account in the add payment function. Have to manually enter the number or search for the bank account through your whole chart of accounts. Old invoicing had bank accounts automatically in this box.

    Thanks for your feedback, Jacqueline. We don't have immediate plans for being able to set a default bank account for payment on an invoice, but we'll start to track this here and I'll share if there's any plans made.

    An update in the last few months bought inconsistency into the invoicing format in terms of the decimal points on the unit pricing. It would be good to be able to define this - to two, three, four decimal points so that there is consistency on the invoices rather than some units at two and some at four decimal points.

  19. On classic invoicing, when you click the account category space or the tracking category it would fill in from the contact default, or account default or some default. But on new invoicing it only fills in if you tab.

    Thanks for the added detail, Becky. This is good to know when sharing back with the team. While this may be something we look closer at down the line, I want to be open that we don't have direct change planned in the near term.

    Understand it's a few more clicks at present, potentially to save tabbing 8 time clicking on the Tax Rate column and then tabbing once may save a little time atm. Completely get it's not a resolve though.

    Account Team - Is it possible that this would be when you're copying an invoice to a new draft invoice? If so, and you select the same Contact defaults aren't automatically applied and you'd need to remove and re-add the contact on the new draft invoice to trigger defaults to be applied. Otherwise, I'd recommend raising a case with our team of specialists for a closer look as…

  20. Currently there is no discount field on the credit note form which creates a fundamental flaw in the xero system. If you look at the attached invoice report you will notice that all credit note entries have no amounts in the discount column even though they all have discount. This overstates the discount amount when you calculate the total discounts because there are no discount credit amounts to correct the discount. We recommend adding a discount section to the credit notes form to correct this as the report is incorrect without this.
