I need to add multiple subtotals and a pre-set percentage value calculation. For instance, when calculating service fees etc.

This is so ridiculous that this hasn't yet been added - as someone else said it's simply a piece of code. I've had a newsletter email from the new CEO and she's requested feedback, which I've sent requesting this:

CEO@xero.com - I'd suggest everyone else do the same :-)

I refer back to my comment made nearly a year ago on 30 April, 2023.

Perhaps we should start a boycott petition?

If Xero continues to show Zero interest in responding to its customer needs, perhaps it's time to vote with our feet....

If this is not implemented soon, our business will be changing to MYOB.

We are scaling up and Xero has far too many roadblocks for our growing team to continually find a workaround.

Such a simple feature to add. Subtotals are necessary for the most basic of basic accounting practices and Xero simply "forgot about it".

How about it Xero? Is anyone going to recognize this and take action?

A response with an estimated delivery on this feature would be the least you could offer us.

MYOB is calling...

quote confusion is sometimes unnecessarily created by not having the ability to show sub totals.
The only way around this is to create separate quotes which is inefficient for the user and confusing for the customer.

Xero, i am sure you can see how important this is to us, your users. Why on earth would you not implement this? Please give this the attention it deserves...WE NEED SUBTOTALS!

this is an ongoing saga, why is Xero not implementing this, they have had 10.5 years.

I spent longer then I'm proud of looking how to make sub totals on my invoices assuming that something this basic was already included!

Please can you give us some kind of indication if this will ever be implemented or not?

Is there anything further on this request Xero? Loads of people want this but Xero taking ages to give any feedback.
@ Jon Huddy - yes we can do that but it's un-necessary in this day and age and an antiquated way to do it, plus wastes time. MYOB already have a sub-total feature available to use in their invoicing for years now. Xero behind the 8 ball on this feature!

When I need to show subtotals, I create a PDF, then edit to include.

It is very important for project with multiple items to be able to show sub totals.
VERY VERY IMPORTANT

I've been watching this string for over a year and have never seen any response from Xero. This whole feedback feature is a joke! I don't think anyone from Xero monitors this site.

Please add this functionality ASAP!!!! At least give feedback as to WHY this hasn't been added already?

Our customers are confused bordering upset about not having subtotals on their invoices. We like Xero, but this is becoming a big issue and we're starting to look for different book-keeping programs.

Please can this happen and can VAT be shown in a separate column, people always think their invoice is wrong.

This is very important as it creates confusion and irritation with our clients.

This really needs to be a feature! It seems so unprofessional if we need to send multiple invoices, when we can just send one with all the information

This is a basic feature that is really needed for giving clients good and thorough information without them having to "do the work"
