    Very surprised that XERO does not offer this as it is an critical part of any accounting feature and would save a lot of time

    To be able to send out a statement automatically every month would be very helpful

    Who has time to do a manual statement run each month?.... I totally agree!

    This should be a part of Xero and not an external app. Have they ever run their own small business, probably not.

    This should totally be a feature, you can set up auto invoicing why not this??!!

    Currently I have had to set my own calendar reminder to email and chase up some of our suppliers at the start of each month to send us regular statements to manage cash flow. Would have been a task less for me if Xero had a feature where the supplier could just tick a box to automatically generate a statement by a specific date.

    This is really essential to our business to increase the likelihood of on-time payments nd reduce admin.

    Agreed, this should be a basic choice to allow for an AUTOMATIC sending of monthly statement programmed for a specific day of the month to manage cash flow. I am truly surprised it is not available in Xero as every statement monthly or not, is manual and costly to my business.

    I don't understand how this is not a feature yet? Ohh there is an app for that, really? Why do we need an app for something that should be a basic part of Xero... and who developed this app?

    Is this what Xero do now... Cherry pick the most requested features, develop an external app that plugs back into Xero, all so they can add on an extra monthly fee?

    Come on Xero. So many of us think being able to choose when and to whom statements are sent automatically, surely this should now be a feature?

    Xero automates so much, why can't this be automated as well to save customers time?
    Seems like such a simple thing to do.

    Theres a new plugin for Xero that does this called Statey:

    https://www.statey.app

    It can be configured to send weekly, or monthly. It also enables you to customise the statement with things like 30-60-90 day aging.

    This is an important to our customers who want statements, and as a basic accounting function, it seems logical to be able to do this.
