  1. I would like Xero to create as sales invoice worded in English and then be able to click a button and Xero then translates all details (including hard coded items) into the language selected and visa versa.

  2. When an invoice in emailed in Workflowmax it is marked with a tick as “Sent”, however this does not carry through to Xero. Is it possible to add this feature so that invoice payment reminders in Xero automatically work without the need to manually change the invoice status to “Sent”?

  4. I would like to be able to send statements using different email templates depending on how old the debts are. Smart lists seem to have the functionality to filter what I want but no option to send statements based on those lists.

    Hey community, thanks for sharing this idea.

    For those who aren't aware, within the Email Settings it is possible to create a number of different templates to reflect the wording you'd like to use, depending on the age of the debt. The Add email templates support article has detailed steps on how to do this 😊

    As mentioned, Smart Lists are a great way to filter your customers and can be used as a tool to identify the customers who should receive their statement with each template.

    However as you have found, it is currently not possible to send statements directly to the customers from the Smart List. We understand this is the main ask of this idea, so we'll continue to monitor the suggestion to get a clearer understanding of users that'd like to see this developed.

  5. Improve Text Formatting - Invoicing

    • Ability to change all text to caps, lowercase or sentence case (like Microsoft word feature) to enable more consistent, professional invoicing in less time. For example when adding multiple billable expense lines.

    • Ability to sort invoice lines by the headers, i.e. description (alphabetically), by price or amount high-low etc.

  6. Label printing. It would be so much easier if having entered the name and address on an invoice we could then print the name and address directly onto a label writer (something easily done using Sage software). We are a publisher, selling books via a website to people who usually only ever make one purchase, so we don't want to create an unnecessarily massive contact list. At the moment we have to type their name and address onto the invoice, then type it all over again on the label writer software, thus doing the same thing twice with the chance…

  7. Repeating Invoice: Sales Overview Screen - add a Last Updated Date to the Overview Screen

    Purpose: We use repeating invoices for the Auto Pay feature but most invoices need some form of adjustment before being sent each month. With a list of repeating invoices that goes on for pages it would be great to see the last date/time each invoice had been updated so that if you are interrupted during the monthly updating you can tell where you are up to when you come back to the Sales Overview screen, rather than needing to keep track of this somewhere else.

  9. Having the option to show client or supplier on invoices.

    Purpose: Eliminates the need to go to contacts tab each time to look up the phone number to contact the person while going over the invoices. Also for the delivery person to be able to reach the receiver at point of destination or to make an arrangement for receiving as well.

  10. Invoice templates should not be in the "settings" but in the actual part where the invoices are, this is product development 101 stuff guys seriously...

    Adding/altering/deleting invoice templates should be accessible right from within the sales overview and invoice section. I shouldn't have to google for this stuff, it's really quite terrible.

  12. Allow the automatic matching of sales invoices against purchase invoices for the same contact.

    Thanks for your continued input and contribution to this idea. We've now released an improved send experience for new invoicing, where you have a side by side view to give you full visibility of what's being sent. Encompassed in this is also the ability to CC and BCC others in the email😊.

    For the time being this is limited to sending from the invoice itself and won't apply to Invoice Reminder emails. However, we are thinking ahead and will look to expand this capability in time. We'll keep you updated of any further progress of this here.

  15. The ability to search credit notes without having to know the credit note details.

    We appreciate users wanting more flexibility in the data they show on invoices. At present our teams are re-developing some of the base features across Sales with particular focus on new invoicing.


    At this time, there are no plans for developing a fields for a PO number in invoicing. Focus is on existing features in invoicing.


    It's good to get a renewed understanding of interest here on Product Ideas, and if there's any news we will update on this here.

    In the meantime, there is a way the custom template can be edited to rename the Reference field as a 'Purchase Order Number' field - see more in the discussion here

    Hi everyone, we appreciate the interest for being able to add QR codes to invoices. 

    While this is something we started looking into this is not something we're developing. 

    To set the right expectation I'll shift this status to submitted and we can continue to track the interest here.
