AU Payroll | Timesheets - Ability to Import Timesheet templates from excel

Could we have the ability to update timesheets each payrun from and excel spreadsheet.
This is so that admin staff can data enter timesheet information without necessarily having access to the payroll system. This is also in the case of Company's who do not want the Xero Me function.

Hi team, as we continue to develop Xero Payroll for our AU customers we're pleased to share this is an idea that our product team have picked up to delve into and better understand the needs and makeup of users that are highly impacted by the manual data entry of timesheets.

As part of their research they're looking to connect and hold interviews with a few customers, who can feedback on their new Timesheet data import prototypes.

    We have over 100 staff, with multiple payroll categories and our award is quite complex, so we calculate our payroll balances in excel and then upload to our current erp.

    Our employees base hours are tracked in a different software platform which captures their hours by project by day. The Xero Me app wouldn't work for us as it doesn't allow time sheet entry by project in the app and doesn't correlate to our allocations software.

    We critically need to be able to upload a batch of timesheets & payroll entries for our employees. See attached an example of our fortnightly timesheet data entry

    Hi, I would like to request Xero to update the product team to prepare an excel time sheet template that we could automatically upload into the time sheeting function. We have a client and we have to do the payroll every week. The payroll process is that we have to prepare an excel from their time sheet to calculate the hours and then have to enter the total hours in Xero to process their pay. If Xero could come up with a template of time sheet suitable for Xero then we can upload the times heet straight to Xero and Xero will do the hours calculation.

    Desperately need to import external pay run information e.g. hours, earnings rates, into Xero in either the Timesheets function or directly into the pay run.

    We use an ERP system and today need to manually enter all payroll times by employee. Not really acceptable for payroll!
