This would be great if you could allocate to quotes and Invoices.
If not a pop up / sticky note that is obvious then for it to highlight a quote, invoice or contact when you search or just look at the list so you know to check the notes section.

Ability to write a note at the top of the dashboard (like a sticky note). This will assist bookkeepers and accountants when logging in to see client specific details eg. where a job it up to, any outstanding queries or tasks that need to be completed.

A note pad or a place to make notes on the client dashboard so that you can leave notes for yourself or anybody else who works with your clients (think outsource or someone new). All the quirks peculiar to that client and what comes through the bank accounts for reconciliation. Anything that maybe outstanding or will be needed to be dealt with for Annual Returns, reminders to yourself to reverse this journal or that when things cross EOY dates into the next FY

This would be brilliant for month end where there is a sequence of events that need to take place and several individuals are reliant on the last step being completed. Would save a lot of phone calls/messages.

The notes are an excellent addition but they don't stand out and tend to go unnoticed. They need to be a different colour that stands out as soon as the page is opened.

This is a must. Under each Contract, we could set up the internal note and be able to select if this is to show on Invoice/Quote/PO/Bill Page, and also be able to select if this is a one-off note or a recurrent note. Thanks

Feature to add - Screen notes/pop ups for new invoices/bills/etc
Handy feature to add that I've had in other programs would be for the option to add a pop up screen note/internal reminder for individual companies when adding a new invoice or bill. Something that can be added and removed as necessary.

Having a "post-it-note" option on your dash board

This is pretty essential and must not be too hard to do as we have similar functionality in the reconciliation discuss tab. Just take the code from that box and put a version of it on the dashboard! Perhaps you could have one tab as notes from adviser and one tab as general notes. Guess you can put a character limit on the box to prevent it being used for anything more than quick notes!

Hopefully someone from Xero will see sense and put this in ASAP.

I agree whole heartedly with all previous comments. It would be so helpful if a separate page could be set up for notes in general and when clicking on a contact or creating an invoice we are aware of any notes that have been generated.
It has been on our wish list for a long time and not having a notes page is the only downside to using Xero.
