Hi all, thanks for supporting and engaging us on where you'd like to see change. We're continuing to look at how we can help our customers get paid faster - Atm we're beginning to explore ideas like yours here, that'd enable more efficiencies in how you receive and pay for invoices with Xero.
We'd like to invite those from AU on the idea here to participate in a pilot we're starting for being able to invoices via SMS with Xero. If you'd be interested in being involved please respond💬 to my update here and I can share your details to our team who'll be in touch.
For the time being this is limited to customers using Xero in Australia, however we'll keep you informed of where we go with this work.

This would be great if you could allocate to quotes and Invoices.
If not a pop up / sticky note that is obvious then for it to highlight a quote, invoice or contact when you search or just look at the list so you know to check the notes section. -

Hi community, we recognise our customers find the option of whether to include a PDF when sending invoices today useful and thank you for you feedback on why you'd also like to see this reflected in Quotes. Our team are considering this for a future opportunity in Quotes and I want to assure you they are well aware of the idea for this here. However, we want to be upfront that we don't have any direct work planned for this right now. We will be sure to share any updates or progress when it comes, with you all here.

Appreciate the interest through the idea, but want to be open that we don't have any development planned for adding reminders or notification of an employees birth date atm.
I see there are some supporters from NZ and UK in the idea here and wanted to point you across to these specific ideas for each region that I'd encourage adding your support for - Each version of Xero Payroll has been developed specifically for the that regions tax and reporting obligations and this would need to be developed for each version separately. Thanks

Hey community, 👋 thanks for all your support on this idea, I’m pleased to let you know that this has been delivered for UK Payroll initially! It includes the ability to select the date range you’re interested in, and check boxes to either select all results or multiple. Then you can download your selection as a single PDF of multiple payslips.
For users in AU and NZ we know this is a highly anticipated feature, however to be open this is not any immediate plans for those teams so we’ll leave this idea open. While we appreciate it doesn’t help employers needing bulk downloads, employees can be invited into the Xero Me portal to self-serve payslip collection.

Hey community, thank you for your continued interest in this idea.
Wanted to provide an update here as it's been a while since we last spoke to duplicate contacts.
I do understand that, at face value, this seems like a quick fix. However, as the contacts screen interacts with many other parts of Xero, this work can not commence until the modernisation of other, related systems is complete.
Due to this, we do not expect support for duplicate contacts to be delivered in the coming short-term.
In the meantime however, we're keen to continue collecting feedback and votes on this idea, and I will update you here as soon as there's more work to share.
