Hi everyone, we really appreciate those that have been testing and sharing back on their experience with our beta for sending invoices via SMS. We've had great results and are moving forward to release this to all users in Australia to begin.
As we roll this out this'll mean those that have been trialing this for us will lose access for a short period of time, but I'll round back to confirm once it's been released to everyone in AU 😊Thanks!

Hi community, thanks for getting involved here and letting us know the importance around being able to see the details whenever an invoice is sent from Xero. We understand the importance of this to our customers and our product team are beginning to review this idea to solve needs in this space. We'll move to Under review and I'll let you know as there's more progress here. Thanks

Absolutely, this is a nightmare now as it looks like certain invoices have changed dramatically but they have just been sent.
Knowing who they have been sent to is extremely important as well.
If i have only sent it to the rep and not the accounts department I need to know.Jacqualyn Beer

It would be great for when quotes get set up as one person (a real estate agent or a rep) but the invoice has to be sent to a head office or government agency, after being checked by the original person/rep, before you can get paid.
Having a note pop up or an icon that indicates you have notes so you can check before sending and no delay in payment.
Would also be great to have a notes icon, when searching in contacts.

This would be great if you could allocate to quotes and Invoices.
If not a pop up / sticky note that is obvious then for it to highlight a quote, invoice or contact when you search or just look at the list so you know to check the notes section. -

Hi everyone, we want to say thank you to everyone that's shared back on their experience with our beta for sending invoices via SMS.
We've had great results and are moving forward to release this to all users in Australia, as a start.
Those that have been trialing this for us in Australia will lose access for a short period of time, however I'll be back to share once it's available to everyone in AU 🙂

Hi community, we recognise our customers find the option of whether to include a PDF when sending invoices today useful and thank you for you feedback on why you'd also like to see this reflected in Quotes. Our team are considering this for a future opportunity in Quotes and I want to assure you they are well aware of the idea for this here. However, we want to be upfront that we don't have any direct work planned for this right now. We will be sure to share any updates or progress when it comes, with you all here.

Hi team, while we understand the desire for auto-save in quotes here, we want to be open that we don't have plans for changing the current save behaviour for quotes for the time being. While seemingly simple there is a fine balance in creating a save experience that'll suit majority of users. As some may have seen with new invoicing that has auto-save implemented, we've received wide ranging response for this feature, and there is more work needed to fine tune.
To confirm the current experience, when creating quotes in Xero you'll want to select the Save button before navigating elsewhere in your org, or leaving the page to ensure the contents of your quote is saved.
If there are any intentions of changing how save works in quotes, we will surely let you know on the idea here. Thanks

Appreciate the interest through the idea, but want to be open that we don't have any development planned for adding reminders or notification of an employees birth date atm.
I see there are some supporters from NZ and UK in the idea here and wanted to point you across to these specific ideas for each region that I'd encourage adding your support for - Each version of Xero Payroll has been developed specifically for the that regions tax and reporting obligations and this would need to be developed for each version separately. Thanks

We had this option pop up in one business, but it didn't give me the option to send an SMS it was ONLY going to send an SMS.
I still want the option to email customers.
