  3. Is it possible to have the starred clients as feature in reports? If we export a client list, we can't see which clients are the 'starred' (main contact for the group in our case). It would be super handy when trying to get a list of our main contacts and easily remove the clients that aren't starred.

  4. Can we please have the budget listed on the invoicing page under a job when you produce a final invoice.

    Currently there is job, name and description listed on this page but not budget.

  5. Ability to add a default accountant's signature in the accountants' report. This would mean that the we do not have to sign each and every report before sending to client to approve and sign the balance sheet.

  7. Some of the field labels in a report don't match the field in the profile, which can cause confusion, incorrect reports and more time spent on building reports than needed.

    For example, on a client profile, we have the 'Partner' and 'Manager', however, when trying to report on these fields, they are called 'Account Manager' and 'Job Manager'.

    It would make reporting easier if all labels/titles matched or at least referred to them, e.g. Account Manager (Partner).

  9. It would be useful to have two dates for recurring jobs - one on which the recurring job is generated and a second date for when the work is to be started. We like to have all of our annual jobs generate on 1 April so we can easily see what work is outstanding for the year, received or not, but we obviously can't start everything in April. The planning aspects of XPM would be more useful if we could set the jobs to generate on 1 April then input a start date of when we are likely to start…

  10. Fixed Assets - Asset Serial Numbers Printing on Depr Schedule
    It would be helpful to have as a print option for the Depreciation Schedule the ability to print asset serial numbers. This is one of the few fields not current able to be selected.

    Application is transport Companies and Engineering Companies which have a high reliance on serial number identification.

  12. Would love to be able to re-arrange line items in Tax Returns as we have everything listed in alphabetical order. In HandiSoft, we could click and drag lines.

    Example situation:

    Shares in 2020
    BOQ
    CBA
    WBC

    Shares in 2021
    ANZ
    BOQ
    CBA
    WBC

    To add in ANZ, we need to delete BOQ, CBA and WBC, add in ANZ and then re-add BOQ, CBA and WBC. Very time consuming if there are multiple lines to add.

  13. Need the ability to be able to add a filter in the Returns page to look at a client group.

    Predominately will be used for bulk status updates, but I'm sure others could find more uses:

    • approval of a group (sometimes approval from each individual return is not appropriate)
    • "out to sign" once a pack is sent via FuseSign etc.

    Would also be useful for a quick snapshot of where the group is up to instead of having to run a report or open the taxable group to see.

  15. I use 'client groups' extensively in HQ. I need to see which clients are not in a group at all, and which ones are in more than one group, but this is not possible. Please allow us to report on which groups each client is in.

    Hi community, just jumping in here to share that we have recently made an improvement to the groups feature in Xero HQ 🎉
    Within a Client record, you can now see what groups they belong to, and add or remove them - check out this article for more information. Please note, this is not available as a report, but is available on a client by client basis.

    While the team have been really busy working on the single client record, they also hope to introduce a Groups list and group details (similar to what is currently available in XPM) to increase the ability to manage Groups within HQ. We’ll be sure to return & update you here when that’s available.

  16. The option to have a draft automatically created when a recurring job is generated. Such as for GST and AIM.
    It would be very helpful by saving time and assist us in making sure they are all filed.

  17. It would be great if we could have the ability to apply multiple relationships to a single entity at once, perhaps as a multiple checkboxes. So for example, when setting up a company, we might have one person who is the Director, Secretary, Public Officer and Shareholder but at the moment we need to add these in one at a time.

  18. Xero Practice Manager - Tax

    I want to be able to run two reports to see which staff have tax access to which clients and to see to which clients a staff member has tax access. This is very important for security purposes and additionally to help us meet our obligations as tax agents.
