  2. I'm completing my first Trust ITR for 2024, and inputting info into the new Trust Income Schedule.

    The Non-PP income flows through to Item 8, but the Capital Gain isn't flowing through to Item 21...

    WHY do you insist on SO MUCH double entry??!?

    It's not even throwing an error, like the 'Managed Fund' schedule does in an Individual ITR??

    Appreciate the conversations here. The other idea linked in this conversation that we delivered on was the ability for information to flow from the Trust Return(TRT) to Individual Returns(ITR) which is facilitated with the Trust Income Schedule.

    We appreciate wanting to see further improvement in this space, and this is something we have intentions of looking at in the future, however we don’t have any timeframe right now. I’ll be sure to share any news with you all here.

  3. In the Transfers screen, Need a filter option on the Return State column to save having to move from page to page of results to find all the Assessed ones (even after having sorted by that column)

  4. The ability to format workpaper queries - currently when you type in a query you can enter paragraphs and do simple formatting or spacing out of the query to make it more readable, but as soon as you close the query, any spacing out of the query is lost and all the words run into each other making queries difficult to read.

  5. It would be great is XPM could have the ability to have multiple timers open / useable at once, so I can stop, start and resume between tasks as you pick up / put down. This was a great feature of MYOB AE.

  7. Can you create a way that when we send out a Tax Return to be signed in Practice manager, Xero sends a notification to the admin team at the same time so they can create an invoice.

  8. On the timesheet entry page, allow users to type keywords in the "Job" section and show search results.
    At present you have to click the dropdown, which lists all open jobs, and then find the job you are working on.

  9. Sync clients grouped in Xero Green to Xero Blue. Currently groups can be created in Xero Green and Xero Blue independently but are not synced or linked. It would be efficient and helpful to sync the groupings we have created in Xero Green across to Xero Blue.

  10. It would be great to be able to set a cost to automatically repeat within XPM. For example a subscription cost to be applied against an annual job on a monthly basis.

  11. Generated GST and PST bills should generate the date of the end of the period reported. January to March reporting should generate a report with the date of March 31, 2024 and not the date of that the bill is generated.

  12. XPM Billing - Ability to bill more than the WIP without WIP write-on.

    If XPM allows carrying credits forward for future use against more work in the future, similar to other traditional practice management software, that would be great. For example, Once we completed the job, we sent out the work with our invoice. If we can carry credits of an hour or two for clients to review the work, discuss and send back the signed copy, lodged & sent assessment etc. This additional time can be offset against the credits that we billed more than the WIP so we…

  16. We need a transaction list for all contact where the unapplied payment amount reflects. It is very difficult to compare our Xero statement with transaction list from a supplier (or debtor for that matter) if you have to export the Xero report on the contact to be able to add up all applied payments and then only be able to compare statements.
    The Contact summary Report should have the option of seeing the report with applied payments or show the payment amount as it came (or was paid out) to suppliers / customers.

    Hi Elmie, just trying to understand your idea here a little better - when you mention 'unapplied payment amount' would this be an amount that's been paid by your customer but hasn't yet been applied to the invoice, or the outstanding amount of an invoice once payment has been applied ?

  17. There needs to be functionality to have multiple trusts or superfunds with the same name i.e. Smith Family Trust or Brown Family Superannuation Fund, as ATO does no require these to be unique, without causing issue with invoices in Blue Xero or having to change the name in XPM to differentiate and have to change the name again each time you lodge. Same name trusts and superfunds is not uncommon.

  18. I have just learned that XPM does not connect to Outlook and thus Client data is not synced. I thought this would be the most important information to sync with outlook, Afterall clients are who accountants communicate with most.

  19. NZ Tax Audit Check of Overseas Income Jurisdiction Codes needs corrected to identify invalid country code UK and bring up a red error message. The correct code for the United Kingdom is GB not UK, the audit check should pick this up at the audit check stage which it currently does not. Thus when we go to file the return the return goes in to error as the jurisdiction code is invalid.

  20. Recurring job screen in XPM is too narrow. Can't see all of the job name or full dates. Would be good to fill the screen to allow more information to be visible rather than having to click in to each job.
