Client | Contact - Fields for addressee and Salutation
New contact being added at client level should be able to add Addressee and Salutation as this is needed for all correspondence sent from XPM
Hi everyone, thanks again for your engagement on the addressee and salutation fields here. It's been super valuable to our team as they keep making improvements in the roll out of Xero partner Hub and the unified client experience.
I'm happy to share they've made some recent updates to Contacts and added an option to add Salutation and addressee details when adding a new contact to a client. 😊
To edit these fields of an existing contact click on their name within the Client this'll direct you to the Contact where you can Edit.

The salutation and addressee name fields in the additional contact section are critical for our workflow integrations with apps like ATO Mate and Ignition. These platforms use the additional contact field to correctly pull the client’s name when a contact is set as the primary contact.
Since these fields were removed, the information no longer pulls through correctly, meaning our team now has to manually re-enter names before sending documents or agreements. Restoring these fields would ensure accurate data transfer and significantly reduce unnecessary admin work.

Too few details to load when creating new contact for client. I had to go to the job, then open the contact to complete the entry - the main thing I was initally missing was Mobile. I want to capture all details at the first point, not have to go back and update later.

I couldn't update the salutation field and mobile field in Contacts - XPM
Why?

Not only this, existing contacts don't have this information available anymore. Also, if a phone number (mobile) was added specifically into the mobile number space for the contact, it is now gone. That's ridiculous!
