Reporting - Automatic generation and emailing of reports
Automatically send email reports every month.
Purpose: Users can set up recurring reports to the dedicated person consistently at the same date.

Seriously, Xero, this is not an obscure request. Almost every product, including many of your competitors, does this. You've sat on your hands for 10 years, so I guess you have no intention of doing this anytime soon, as the email of December 2023 suggests. Perhaps, rather than voting here, we need to vote with our feet and take our business elsewhere ?

We have multiple Xero companies (which works if we use Mayday app to do the intercompany transfers). Pushing KPI's and reports to owners, top team and managers is really important to keep them on their toes. They don't have time to keep clicking the buttons to get the reports and we don't want to do it either. The feature we would like is to send information which is visible without futher clicking - so the dashboard in html and each page of the management report in html - would be what we want. The management report would be great because we can edit that and turn it into a pack.

Xero is there any news on this since the update on 18th December 2023?
This is something so obvious and a feature anyone would expect as a standard inclusion. This is so needed in a product like Xero and incredibly surprising that it hasn't already been included for years.

Contact xeroemail.com for sending your invoices, reminders directly from your own domain. They are also working on automated monthly statement and reports.

Come on Xero, this is an essential requirement to help your customers work more efficiently and effectively.
I can't believe it would take that much development work for you to implement this.
Look at the feedback from the community to this issue, it reflects poorly on your brand that you won't deliver this for whatever reason - hopefully it's not true that you're profiting from this by forcing us to use 3rd party integrations!

This would be a no-brainer useful feature both to automate sending reports to clients but also to allow users to integrate Xero with other tools - e.g. you could email a report file to a shared mailbox and use a script to upload the data into tools like PowerBI.
But just to temper people's expectations - this is why Xero will probably never introduce this feature. There are tools like OData Link which integrate Xero data with other tools, and if they were to enable us to automate report emails then the demand for those tools would dramatically drop.
Sadly, this feature isn't compatible with Xero's business plan which is the reason they are not considering it.

this is crazy, every software package out there allows for report email or automation. Xero doesnt even give this to zapier to automate, it doesnt email it either. We will need to change packages to save time and automate more

It's a bit crazy this feature is not available. There is a lot of automation potential that is lost here without the ability to schedule reports.

It would always be a great idea but its a must especially now with Ai being able to analyse these report so can be automated ready for review where now we will have to manually copy and past. annoying

This is a CRUCIAL feature. I'm honestly surprised that we're unable to setup automatic emails containing financial statements/other essential reports.
It remains one of our most used features of QuickBooks Online. Please reconsider this feature in the new year.
