Contact Transactions Summary - Select multiple contacts
Currently, you are able to pull the Contact Transactions Summary and ledger for only one contact at a time.
If you can add the ability to pull more than one contact's transactions at a time, it would be great. It should work the same as "Account Transactions" where you choose the accounts you want to pull, just for Contacts.
Hi team, appreciate the additional feedback and it's been some time since our last engagement here.
We don't have any plans for enabling the Contact Transactions Summary or sub reports to be run for multiple contacts at once right now.
Appreciate the needs expressed here on getting more visibility for reviewers to be able to clearly see payments against accounts and this is something we'll keep in mind as we continue to build out our reporting in Xero.
For now the Receivable and Payables Invoice detail reports would be the best option. If needing to zone into payments you could filter by source within this report. Thanks

Exactly what Elizna has shared, it is a report that we'd love too. So at EOFY I am able to do a dump in Excel and our accountants can filter their clients as required.

Hi
I know about that Payable invoice detail report and it works nice. There are many filters and options to choose from. The only issue is that you cannot see the actual amounts paid. When the auditors ask for a ledger, they try to match a payment back to the bank.
The contact transaction detail, which we have to pull one by one, reflects the allocated payments which they need to add up, but then you need to pull the report one by one.
The Payable invoice detail - I can filter for certain suppliers, but it just reflects as Paid and a date.
It would be nice to have something in a ledger style with debits and credits reflecting the amounts paid. Not sure if it is possible after we allocated a payment to different invoices, to just reflect the one amount paid in the ledger, though?
In the meantime we will be working on the Invoice detail report.
Thanks!
