Profit & Loss - Ability to hide lines
On the P & L reports, there quite often extra lines at the bottom which aren't required this yr, but may be next year. which we don't need ie: Net loss/ profit before beneficiary dist , nor do we need before tax etc as a loss, just need the bottom line ( net Profit /Loss). Companies also have the same issue. Is there a way to "hide" these lines? if not , can we add this as a suggestion please. Don't want to delete, just hide or disable as necessary
Hi everyone, thanks for sharing this suggestion. We understand you’re looking for a cleaner and more flexible way to format Profit & Loss reports, including the ability to hide specific accounts.
This could help improve report readability and make it easier to present tailored financial statements to stakeholders.
We’ll continue to collect feedback and interest from the community.

Any timeframe, what does gaining support mean? or just expressions of interest to make your reports be finally professional and presentable to the world - more suprised this was never considered on development.
Been waiting 5+ years for a nice presentable report to clients.

Would it be possible to have the current P&L have the option to be formatted better? As I need to separate P&L for different accounts that have been created on the COA (tracking is not an option).
When I make a blank report, I want to merge and follow the same format as the standard P&L, when I make a custom one, it looks terrible lots of additional lines and the headlines are to the right while the sub headlines are to the left. When I want to add a formula, I cant fully separate this and causes confusion for placement.
Otherwise as per another suggestion - hide certain accounts etc.

Suggest that when printing Published accounts that any lines under 1.00 are hidden.
Example (as we don't print cents in our published reports).
If there say .46 left in an account , that line is not printed, As currently it will print with no amounts. and looks silly. (need to jnl the cents somewhere else to clear.
