Navigation - Restore ability to favourite "report codes" in the reporting menu
One of the key steps in preparing client financials is to ensure accounts, especially newly added ones, are assigned to the correct report code. I had the favourited on every client in the old navigation for quick access as it's something I need almost every time. It'd like that back.
Great to get your feedback here, Chris. It'll be good for us to get a sense of interest from others in community that also found this Favouriting of Advanced Account settings useful.
We're keeping a close eye on the interest and will share if there are any updates for you here.

I also have the same question about bringing back the ability to favourite report codes in the reporting menu. This was a really useful feature in the old navigation because assigning the correct report codes to accounts is something that needs to be done regularly, especially when new accounts are added for different clients. Having the option to favourite report codes made the process much quicker and saved the trouble of navigating through the menus every time. With the new navigation, losing that quick access adds unnecessary steps to a task that is already part of the regular financial preparation workflow. I think restoring this functionality would make the new interface much more convenient for people who work with multiple clients.
Has anyone found an alternative way to save or quickly access frequently used report codes in the new navigation? I would prefer not to keep searching through the reporting menu every time I need to assign or review a code. It would also be helpful if favourites could be saved individually for each client, just as they were previously, rather than having to maintain a separate list outside the system. Hopefully, the development team will consider bringing this feature back because it is not just a cosmetic preference but a practical shortcut that makes everyday accounting work more efficient. Is there any update on whether restoring the favourite option is being considered? Having quick access to organized information is useful in other areas too, such as checking 7 Brew nutrition facts when comparing drink options and their nutritional details. Totally agree with all comments on here - anything to make navigation quicker and not slower when preparing accounts is a must

I agree wholeheartedly with what both Katherine and Chris are saying, the new menus are making it harder to get to places we used to easily be able to reach with one click before the navigations were altered. I also find it out illogical to have the Payroll menu before the Accounting menu, accessing the bank accounts and other accounting tools is something that many people do more regularly than access the payroll tools.

As an accountant, I frequently need to access several of the submenus in accounting settings many times a day, such as financial settings, report codes and report fields (and tracking already mentioned above). These used to be available directly from the top menu, and now I have to click into accounting settings to find the relevant sub-menu which is really annoying. I would like the ability to star "favourite accounting settings" so that they appear on the top menu for quick access (like we can do for the reports menu).
