Reporting - User experience | Resize report column width to scale with window size
I'm currently doing superannuation for a client, having finalised their last payrun for the month. I've got the superannuation accruals report up on screen, so I can match that to what I'm paying, and to the bill in which I allocate each employee and direct contractor's super to the project they're working on.
Because I need to have multiple windows active with pieces of information being cross-referenced, I've got the superannuation accruals report open in a half-screen window. I noticed that the width of the report is wider than the window, so I removed some of the columns. As I removed them, the columns still displaying became wider to take up the space that had been taken up by the columns I removed. And thus, no matter how many columns I remove, the amounts column is still falling off of the displayed report.
Please make the table dynamically size to match the size of the window in which it is displayed, this is ridiculous.

Hi Freya thanks for your feedback on this UI. I can see that the report(s) does not automatically scale it to the size of the window. We've moved this idea to gain more support and will monitor this for more traction.
