Could you please bring back a file icon on the VAT return showing the attached invoice.

Sorry to hear the troubles you're running into here, Gina. Having tested this out this morning, I can see the file icon is still displayed against transactions on the VAT return. If this is not the case for you, please raise a case with our Xero Support team on Xero Central and our specialists can investigate with you 1-1. Thanks!
