Add a column for payment date on aged recievables and payables reports. Would help to see what remains outstanding and what has been paid after the period.

Having to manually click through each individual invoice to confirm the paid date as part of an audit can be very time consuming. Having the option to add a paid date column would be very beneficial.

Would be really helpful in order to avoid questioning clients that are doing their own bookkeeping and as bookkeepers we need to review only.

Yes would make our assessment of bad debts and credit note provisions required for clients much easier (to know if its been paid or credit noted)

@Derrick you can do that by running the Aged Payables/Receivables report as at one date and using the Filter option to include only Bills/Invoices up to a previous date.

This would be a massive help. Even better would be if the aged payables report can be taken off with whatever date you need it (end of last month, for example) but showing only the current outstanding balances from that date (just as you can do in Sage). I haven't found a way of taking this report off Xero, but maybe it's already possible.

On the Aged Receivables and Aged Payables reports can we add a field showing Paid date if the bill has subsequently been paid following the date of the report.

I'm using the "Aged Receivables Detail" and "Aged Payables Detail" reports for helping with accruals and prepayments and it would be extremely handy if you could add "payment date" to the report. Currently this isn't available so I'm having to use the report to identify potential accruals/prepayments and then manually go into each transaction to see when it was paid to then decide if it's an accrual or prepayment.. If the paid date was available in the report, this would save so much time.

On the aged receivables report can a column be added to show the last payment received. Our 20 year old software showed this which is very helpful when clients are paying off a debt. Feel like we have gone backwards with Xero.

I find it really annoying that Paid invoices appear on an aged payable report WITHOUT the option to show the payment status. It doesn't serve the purpose of showing what's due for payment. I have repurposed the payable invoice report, exported to Excel and run a formula which SUM totals by contact to get around this. It's such a pain. The way this report is in its current status is a list of invoices received. I can see that info elsewhere.

I appreciate it if you can add the Invoice Due date to the Age Receivable Summary Report.

Last Payment Date on the Accounts Receivable Report. Have the "Turn on/off" this so the user can see when a Customer last paid. It would be very helpful to see this, especially with recalcitrant Customers.

A report that shows the total amount of an invoice and then the amount owing at a certain date.

There used to be a report like this that i loved using in sage. There was an option to produce an aged payables/ receivables list that included later payments to make possible bad debts more visible when preparing YE accounts
