not good, still have to stay with sage50

We have different prices for the same products to different customers, as I suspect a lot of businesses have. This would save so much time and effort.

I just can't understand how Xero have their 'heads in the sand' on this issue!
It would be a real added necessary feature.

hellooooo - this requirement is not going to go away. Can you reconsider please Xero? Happy to pay extra fee for service (as will be paying for add on anyway...)

I have to add. I am absolutely disappointed in the fact that clearly Xero is not taking onboard all of the comments about the fact that the new invoice layout is terrible.

I would rather keep using the old version, it is much better. I understand making improvements on the existing but this is a massive step backwards. It doesn't even remember the customer terms when you create a draft invoice. Also my clients need different pricing levels for different customers. Such as wholesale and retail pricing. Its not just a case of adding a discount.

And the recent drop outs for half a day - I use to love using Xero but now I have client calling me asking why they cant access Xero or do invoicing. Yesterday it was for over half of the day.

Very reluctant to convert any more of my client to this mess.

Useless , how hard can it be to add structured or tiered pricing and advising that we should get an add on is costly and insulting. Xero you need to get your act together.

Pricing plan to be able to increase prices via percentages for different tiered customers

So Xero keep increasing their subscription fees regularly but can't have something as simple as different prices for different clients but instead we have to pay for an extra app to be able to do this!!! Xero you are losing your shine.. Xero was a good tool but it seems to be going backwards rather than forwards. Some of the new features are not well thought out and don't even bother trying to contact support because it's like a puzzle to find where to contact and then find your response. Too many price hikes and not enough actual useable features. The new invoicing is terrible especially with the change to discounts, I now have to put a % sign in every line item which is just ridiculous! Such a pity Xero. If another system comes along that is similar we would be very tempted to jump ship.

We have many customers that have services rates that are different and I have to run a spreadsheet and manually change the default ones.. It's so behind the times!! Why can we have a default price for a product or service for each contact?

It would be amazing to have the ability to have different prices for different customers, whether from the Products and Services, Contacts or both sections.

I don't understand why you cannot have a price breakdown in the background for reporting purposes either.

For instance our total price we give our customer, includes a cartage rate and there is no where to break that cost down, you cannot break it down on a quote either. Which is why we haven't used the quoting function yet or added products to xero.

This is a critical feature for my business, I hope Xero introduces it soon, if not I'll unwillingly have to move to another accounting software.

I am a jeweller that sells my products both wholesale and at a retail sales price. It would be really useful to be able to have two adjustable prices for one product, in addition to the cost price, so that my stock levels and accounting don't get confused. I am sure this would be a useful feature for many product based businesses.

Product & services - Create custom (tiered) price lists for contacts
Ability to create multiple price lists for the same inventory items, and be able to set a default for each contact.

To enable tiered pricing for different groups of customers. Would save time and require less manual checking

I too am looking for tier pricing, we are a service industry so we don't need inventory management. We just need the ability to invoice at different rates for different customers. We don't want to add additional products with different prices as it becomes messy and increases error for our technicians to decide which product (price) to charge the customer.

This is very disappointing that Xero does not plan to fix this common request!

This is a vital feature for wholesale and retail e-commerce.

One of my client has a plenty customers. Now for some of his customers he needs to set up a special prices for some of his products. It is not a % discount for all of the products but specific prices for specific customers and at specific products. It's irregular changes for some of the clients only. Each client needs to have a different price. It Is crucial to have possibility to set it up in inventory/stock section please.
