Purchase Orders - Add back Saved delivery address for Purchase Orders
our saved delivery addresses for Purchase Orders have disappeared. is this one of the new changes?
Hi team, further to my recent update I wanted to confirm that the team are actually already in the process of re-releasing this to users!

Yes, our standard delivery address is no longer there, along with the delivery instructions. These details are usually the same for all our purchase orders. We now have to re-enter on each purchase order. Very time consuming. Not great!

They've made it even worse than the last time they removed it. There's no longer a work around and the previously saved addresses have now all vanished. We can't keep working like this with functionality disappearing and reappearing then disappearing again

There was no need to remove the saved delivery addressed from the purchase orders.
Another poor idea from Xero.Please ADD it back!

@Jason Laurent, I have just raised this as a case to support. Might get some traction there as voting on ideas don't really get anywhere.

Received AI reply basically saying to lodge it on the ideas forum so i guess it is now just going to be a matter of getting used to the new workflow unless Xero enable the ability to assign more than 2 addresses to the contact - perhaps this will be the idea to vote on as it would cover this issue and flow through to invoices and quotes. -

Agree David, this is not an idea, this is something that used to work, and work well, but has now been changed, just bring this option back to the way it wass, as it is costing our business too much time,

I should also note this is NOT an idea for an improvement, it is highlighting a bug with the system where something that used to work no longer works. Please don't treat this as an idea, but address this as it is an issue with the software not performing correctly.

Delivery addresses used to appear on the purchase order, but now it is a matter of having to go in and manually and select it. If this step isn't performed out of years of habit, the purchase order doesn't have ANY delivery address or instructions.
Also, if we are arranging an order for a drop ship, only having 2 addresses the we can select from is a limitation. We used to be able to work around this by manually changing certain parts of the address, but now we can't even do this.
Why have you changed something to make it harder and take longer to complete the process? If this is in preparation for a future "enhancement", how long will it take to introduce as this is currently just going backwards. -

Hi, I agree - Definitely need the saved delivery address back! Especially as 90% of our orders come in to store and saves me so much time from having to search and enter it.

Why have all our delivery addresses gone from Purchase orders? We have many different locations we use for deliveries that we include onto the purchase orders, but now not there, why change this??? Please put the addresses back urgently !!!

Has the ability to add new delivery addresses been taken away again? We have lots of saved delivery addresses for previous / current projects and finally had the 'add new address' button added back in and now everything has gone!
Can only add one off addresses - can't add new addresses to be saved, can't select any old ones.. does everything need to be raised as a contact again? it's a massive pain in the backside.
I don't know how it's gone backwards when it was fixed..
