Bills - Ability to restrict visibility on confidential bills and allow specific users only
For example, director expenses, salary/bonus-related bills, sensitive suppliers, personal/confidential purchases, special projects, or bills with sensitive pricing.
At the moment, the Draft Sales & Purchases role is not very user-friendly and has limited access, so it is difficult for accounts staff to properly manage and handle bills and invoices.
It would be much better to allow accounts staff to manage normal bills as usual, while allowing directors/admins to restrict access to selected sensitive bills.
This would be a very useful feature for businesses that need both efficient bill management and financial confidentiality.

Thanks for sharing this suggestion. Being able to mark a bill as Confidential or Restricted could make it easier to handle sensitive expenses while maintaining broader access to everyday payables.

This is similar to an issue we have. Our business has multiple heads of departments. I would like to give them read only access, but only to the GL Codes they are responsible for. At month end, I have a number of custom reports to pull each departments' GL codes, which I then export for them to review. However, they can't interrogate any line items since this is then offline. It would be so much easier if they could view (only) their department's costs in Xero to sense check purchases being coded to their nominals.
